Papercraft Lady Amalthea from The Last Unicorn! I've made shoulders-up papercraft of her before, but after rewatching the movie recently, I realized I'd never done any art of her whole figure - and that this was the perfect time to do so, as I'd recently acquired a perfect paper for her long skirt and sequins for the starburst on her forehead! So, clearly I had to make some art.
Papercraft Kurama! đč I tried to use all plant-or-flower-related papers for him this time. And, I continued my Sticker Agenda by finding a nicely-sized rose sticker for him to hold! (Although this particular sticker ended up being trickier to work with than I anticipated, as I decided to trim away the white border around it - and oof, the stem and other details were so tiny I was worried I'd slice straight through them! It worked out in the end, though, and Kurama ended up with a lovely rose for his whip.)
Scar's Sunflower Sweater!
I need this sweater.
And I have the skills.
If my local yarn store has the right colors there might be one.
Does anyone know how to find out who designed his skin?
I know everyone is calling it a lightsaber but all I see is Kuwabara's spirit sword! đ

If you post your work on Ao3 or other fanfiction sites, what's the main reason you DON'T respond to comments?
I don't know what to say
I feel awkward replying
I forget to respond
The fic is too old
I don't like what I wrote
I don't like that fandom anymore
I don't understand the comment
The comment is rude
Another reason
I WOULD respond but I never get comments on my fanfiction
I respond to every comment
I don't write/post fanfic, show results
We ask your questions anonymously so you donât have to! Submissions are open on the 1st and 15th of the month.
Anyone else dying from this scene?

I canât wait to see them together!!!
This is a Moving Forward PSA for everyone using AO3. I am witnessing the results of a culture clash and communication failure. Not a lack of communication, but a misunderstanding caused by changes in fandom culture.
Before fic tagging was common, fics werenât tagged. You had a pairing, if applicable, an authorâs note about genre or general content, and if they were feeling charitable, a vague content warning. There are even a few genres of fic where even vaguely tagging literally spoils the plot and impact (such as horror, psyche thriller, in which the likely content is implicit to the genre). As a result, there is a basic category tag that permits this, as a courtesy to âold-fashionedâ writers.
âNo Archive Warnings Applyâ means the fic is PG13 at worst, probably fluff, totally safe.
âChoose Not to Use Archive Warningsâ is the polar opposite. Itâs a glaring Enter at Your Own Risk billboard. It means: a shitload of warnings apply but I ainât telling because this story requires shock value. Itâs very important to read the authorâs notes for those fics because they might be using that older format from above.
But without the context of fandom culture that generated AO3, itâs understandably easy to conflate the two categories, given their similar wording.
âNo Archive Warnings Applyâ means thereâs no
graphic depictions of violence
major character death
underage
rape/non-con
âCreator Chose Not To Use Archive Warningsâ =Â HERE BE DRAGONS. (implies that one or more of the above exists, but the author doesnât want to give anything away by tagging)
To expand on the clarification, âNo Archive Warnings Applyâ does not in any way imply PG-13. It is only telling the reader that the fic does not include any of the four things @mrv3000 listed.
Stories including things like abuse may be listed with âNo Archive Warnings Applyâ if that abuse doesnât include any of the four required warnings.
âNo Archive Warnings Applyâ stories may also include graphic sexual content, kink/BDSM, non-graphic violence, and more. All of my Explicit stories have this warning tag.
âCreator Chose Not To Use Archive Warningsâ does not imply that one or more of the four required warning tags applies here. It simply tells you that the author is not warning you if one does.
That can also be because 1) the story is imported from elsewhere without an equivalent tag and one wasnât added, 2) the author didnât know whether something reached the level of requiring a warning tag, or 3) the author simply did not want to tag.
The only time Iâve ever used âCreator Chose Not To Use Archive Warningsâ it was because I didnât know if the character who died counted as a major character, so I didnât know whether to use Major Character Death or not. To avoid tagging wrong one way or other, I picked the other option.
It was a clearly tagged death, it just wasnât marked in the warnings to avoid confusion or getting it wrong.
Tl;dr: âNo Archive Warnings Applyâ literally just means that none of the four specific warnings apply (not that itâs necessarily a fluffy PG-13 fic) and âCreator Chose Not To Use Archive Warningsâ just means that the author is choosing not to say (not necessarily that a warning does apply).
You can and should write fanfiction that isn't perfect. You can and should write whatever fanfiction you want. You can and should write fanfiction that brings you joy even if it's silly or goofy or weird.
Except for me. My fanfic has to be perfect and read like a novel and ruin at least one person's sleep schedule.
