In lieu of the new tumblr settings, can I make yet another plea with those of you who read fics and consume art on tumblr to please reblog them? Â
Fics and art will die on a creatorâs dash if they arenât reblogged. Itâs never been more true than now.Â
If you want to keep receiving content from creators, reblog the the content. If itâs something you enjoyed? Reblog it. Itâs not hard. I am going to make a point to reblog everything I read from now on. (With the proper tags of course), as well as all the art that I see on my dash. Â
I cannot make it simpler. Posts WILL die unless theyâre reblogged. No one will see your âlikeâ. Your like is a bookmark for YOU to find it later. Your reblog means the world to a creator because it means you are willing to go the little extra distance and recommend this to your followers. Â
Donât let creations die on the dash of those who created them. Â
Reblog to save a creation. Â
Reblog to keep a creator creating.
Reblog, please.Â
Ironically, Tumblr ate my last attempt at this post, so Iâll keep it sweet:
1. It makes content creatorsâ day when you interact with us, especially reblog.
2. Comments and tag blathering are really, really special to me, and I look at allllll my reblogs just in case someone said something interesting in the tags.
3. It works. @dresupi reblogged something of mine and I immediately got more notes.

The House of the Rising Sun : The Second Night
Oh, Kiss me quick And make my heart go crazy
âHeâs a fucking pig and heâs gonna get whatâs coming to him for it.â
Jughead looked up from his straw, sucking up his milkshake. Â
âHowâs he gonna âget whatâs coming to himâ? The school system sure as hell isnât big on karma.â
The sharp eyed girl opposite him folded her diamond studded arms.
Jughead glanced between her and the timid blond sitting quiet, but equally determined, beside her.
âWeâll just have to take things into our own hands, I guess.â
âBetty, you canât possibly agreeâŚâ He looked to the blond, who seemed aghast.
âYes,â she enunciated, âI do, Jughead. Youâre right, the school isnât going to do anything, especially since Chuck is the principleâs son. But that doesnât mean we have to do nothing.â
Jughead leaned forward, âWhat exactly are you going to do?â
âVeronica has a plan.â
âMe?â she looked to Betty, âItâs your plan. And a damn good one too.â
âAre you gonna tell me, orâŚâ Jughead shrugged, finishing up the last of his fries.
The girls glanced at each other. A decision was made. Veronica faced Jughead.
âItâs probably better if you donât know.â
Sigh that sigh and whisper oh so low Tell me that tonight will last forever
âYou know what?â he leaned back after a moment of silence, âWhatever it is, just donât kill anyone, ok? Iâve got enough to write about at the moment.â
âOh, youâll wish you could write about this!â Veronica smirked. Jughead rolled his eyes. And a silence fell over the table as the three took an entirely coincidental and wholly meaningful toast of milkshakes.
Say that you will leave me never Kiss me quick because I love you so.
âWhat is this song?â Betty asked, smiling, âItâs nice.â
âElvis. Kiss me Quick.â
Both girls peered at the boy in ponderous silence. Jughead glanced up from his shake, cheeks flushing a slight peach.
âI sit here a lot, ok?â he mumbled, âI canât help but pick up on some of this stuff.â
âWell, he is the King of Rock.â Veronica sneered, âWho can blame you, Juggie?â
A snicker and a glare exchanged between the two. The song came to a slow end, the vinyl switching and the next song echoing throughout the diner.
Iâm looking for a girlfriend, I gotta find myself somebody to loveâŚ
âHey whatâs this song, Juggie?â Veronica grinned, âIâm sure you know all about that struggle, am I right?â
âFuck off.â The boy spat, unable to hide the slight smile on his lips.
âSpeaking of which, we better. We have that meeting--â She glanced suggestively at Veronica, âAnd I still have to go over physics for the test tomorrow.â
âToo busy plotting world domination.â Veronica joked.
âI might as well go home too.â Jughead shrugged, eyes cast down, âItâs⌠getting late and all.â
The three rose, paid their bill and exited the diner. The night breeze, like an ocean, coasted against the back of Jugheadâs neck, running a tingle down his spine. His mother used to say that meant a ghost just walked through you. Jughead followed behind Veronica and Betty, wondering if ghosts existed in the tropics when a loud, single shrieking ring broke the silence. Luckily, neither of the girls saw him twitch in surprise.
âAh,â Betty reached into her pocket, pulling out her cell, the screen illuminated with a text. She furrowed her brow, eyes shifting left and right over the words.
âRonnie, weâre meeting here instead.â
âHere?â the brunette turned to Betty, lowering her voice, âIsnât that kind of conspicuous?â
Jugheadâs gaze glazed over the forest on the side of the road, pretending to not listen. Clearly, this had to do with the top secret plan Betty concocted.
âUhm, Jughead, you go on ahead. Weâre gonna stop by somewhere real quick.â
Jughead rolled his eyes, âThatâs not vague and suspicious at all.â
âNeed-to-know, Juggie.â Veronica replied, taking Betty by the arm, âWeâll catch up with you tomorrow.â
âWait, wait, wait!â He stopped her from striding past him, âIâm going with you guys.â
âDidnât I just sayââ
âIâll keep my distance so you can have your privacy, ok? Just, nowâs not the best time to be meeting sketchy people on your own.â
âI have Betty.â
âThereâs a killer on the loose.â
âI hope this isnât some masculinity thing.â Veronica rolled her eyes. Jughead frowned.
âNo, I just think there should be a witness. For the newspapers, you know? So they get it right in the obituaries.â
âSo clever, how do you do it?â
âJust shut up and go to the meeting place, ok?â
Veronica folded her arms, glaring him down. Betty stood to the side, witness to the stare-down.
âLook, letâs just let him come, Ronnie. Heâs not gonna stop us from doing what we need to.â
âHow can you be so sure?â she asked, eyes unmoving from the beanie-headed boy.
âHeâs Jughead.â She shrugged, âWe can trust him, I promise.â
Veronica seemed unmoving in her conviction. However, a moment later, her arms came down to her hips.
âFine.â
