Also realized we need $35 for laundry before we go, plus $40 for an oil change. We also have to change out the brakes, but I’m unsure how much the brake pads are at the moment.

Okay so it's happening... (blegh)

We're being evicted. Well, we're being told to vacate the premises. We got a notice, we have to be out by July 30, or we will be taken to court. We were a month behind on rent, but I thought we were okay, but we weren't, apparently, so for all intents and purposes, we're being evicted. The goal is to be out by the 24th so they can't like... try to say we were late or whatever. We have a place lined up to stay and we're going to try and get everything moved in two weeks. We're having to get rid of a bunch of stuff because we're staying with family, but they're letting us keep the cats, and that's a win. There are some things we need, including a floor mattress and some shower caddies and those vacuum seal storage bags. So I made a wish list just in case anyone wanted to give us a hand with this stuff. Thank y'all so much for even just sharing this! I'm... still a little numb so I'm probably not coming across like I'm worried or upset at all, I'm mostly trying to triage and wondering how we're going to move out of a place we've lived in for 15 years in two weeks. but we're going to do it.

So many people are letting GenAI think for them at this point. It's sad. Like people can't do ANYTHING without asking GenAI. That was fast, right? Like... the time jump from GenAI becoming mainstream popular to people just not thinking for themselves anymore was SHORT, right? I saw a reddit post where someone was asking if they should go to the ER, ChatGPT said it wasn't that bad yet, but their hand is swelling up. LIKE GO. TO. THE. ER. Listen, I saw the thing where ChatGPT couldn't count how many 'r's are in the word Strawberry, and let me tell you, I ain't letting something that can't count letters tell me when it's time to go to the ER. It is not intelligence. It is a PROGRAM, guys. A program.

So I got my living room broken down today... wanted to share my wall that I have been working so hard on,*sniff* I donated most of this, and kept a few things.

I'm keeping... the shelf, the cherry lamp, the strawberry fields print, the fairies, the pastel bugs, the lips in a rainbow frame, the frankenstein and bride of frankenstein heads, and the 80s looking painting on the far wall. The rest I'm donating. The tea set and the haunted dolls are staying as well. Ignore the mess. We're having to move very quickly, lol. There's stuff everywhere.
