Sprouted Lentil Veggie Burger (dairy-free) - Healy Real Food Vegetarian

Urban Surgeon General Warning: I’ve taken this recipe and turned it into healthy junk food!  

Howdy Y’all! I’ve re emerged from the ether to bring to you a lovely meal…er…snack…whatever. It’s technically lunch that I somehow turned into dinner. I followed this recipe above. What went wrong with it was I have no patience for pan frying. So….I ended up shoving it in the oven at 425 for a little bit of time. It came out a bit DRY!! To cover my screw up, I  took some 12 grain bread and grass fed butter (Never use Margarine, it’s CRAP) put it in the pan to fry, then I lumped this burger mess on top of it with some Daiya cheese. The Daiya cheese did not disappoint! It melted and smothered some moisture right into this burger bringing it back to life. The grilled cheese  I made turned out to be a phenomenal success. The Boyfriend and I love it. 

Let’s Review!

1. Put your burger mix into the oven at 425 for about 20-25 minutes or until it starts to brown.

2. Get out your pan, Grass fed butter and Daiya Cheese!!!

3. Prep this burger like you would a grilled cheese!

4. Pan fry it until the Daiya Cheese has smothered the burger in a melty delicious crazy frenzy.

5. Peel that bread back. (BE CAREFUL! It’s HOT!) Add whatever condiments you feel like. I prefer tomato, a lil avocado and some barbeque sauce!!!

Need I remind you that sweet potato and lentils are full of yummy fiber?! You will expel the guilty feelings of how delicious this is in due time. Drink a lot of room temperature water or hot tea and give it time. Nature will clear out your gut for you. hahaha!  ENJOY! ^.^

Nobody is coming to save you....

Man, it's been a long time since I've posted on here. I'm gonna try to do more and not be as cryptic.

But anyway,

it's taken me so many years to really get that to sink in. Yeah, we all long to do something with ourselves be it big or small but in the last year I've really had many things open my eyes. Something is pulling at me every time I sit at the computer, Every night that I can't sleep, Any time I'm driving. It's the idea that there is more I can be doing 

When I say more I don't mean just writing songs or recording music, I mean building something... making my life count. Right now I get up and go to work at a job that I don't hate but I don't feel fulfilled. yes... it pays my bills and keeps a roof over my head but seriously it doesn't do much more than that. I know that I need a job that I love or at least don't hate and now that I have that I realize that I need to not only have a job that I love doing but it has to mean something.

yeah, I sound like a bleeding heart but what the hell... That's what I am when it comes right down to it. I'm a sap but I know when people hear me talk about things I love they often times tell me they can hear the passion in my voice or whatever... But seriously, I know I need to be doing something that matters to me and not just existing. I work with a ton of great people in a great atmosphere but many of them I can tell they just EXIST when it's all said and done I want to have mattered  I just don't want to be a headstone with a name.

To quote an old friend of mine, "I said all that to say this:" lol I have something that is in me that has been building for a while. I call it "The Reverie" originally it was conceived as an EP with some crazy music videos attached with the hopes of getting a buzz. Laying in bed I realized that it is more than just a music project. The Reverie is the next step in my evolution as a human being.  My presence on the net and everything I create is all part of The Reverie.

What I mean by that is I need to be in charge of my fate.   I know, it's been said a bunch of times by millions of people but I've carved out a plan that I must chip away at little by little for the rest of my life. Nobody else will do this for me. Nobody is going to hold my hand and guide me through becoming the person I dream about every day. Sure, many people will cheer me on and give me lifts here and there. But it has to be me. There is only me. They don't go to sleep with these thoughts and ideas. they don't fret over a song not being finished or not being good. they don't fight every day with the fear and doubt.... I do. 

I have accepted that nobody is coming, nobody is watching, nobody is caring, it's only me

Over 4th of July week-(in?) I got a chance to see the amazing spider-man. what I’ll say is this first off.
