The last few days

7th of March, 2016

Today I saw an echidna in the bush. It was small and crossing the path we were walking on. It had stocky legs and this rolly bumbling walk where it didn’t seem to look for a clear path but instead just barged through or over whatever was in its way, stickin its snout into the leaf litter and pieces of old rotting wood to look for insects to eat. It was really cute and made me really happy for the time I got to be in its presence.  I also saw dogs at the beach, so happy to be running around, anticipating a ball being thrown, trying to beat the little waves lapping at the shore, meeting other dogs and giving them the sniff.

Against me! last night

This is a Tomatillo/Tomato tree. I tasted the fruit today for the first time and it tastes like if a passion fruit and tomato made sweet love and produced a freak of nature bundle of joy.

Waking hallucination

A man's face, somewhat transparent, floating above the bottom right of my bed. The man had a ginger beard. The face moved closer and closer to me, as if sliding along a track. I watched it, and didn't react.
