Now the new season is airing, I'm sure there will be more people appreciating the art, and our pookie living the life he deserves.

I'm super curious about this version. Like we know it's Kenjaku who turned him into a relic, but I always assumed it was *after* Sukuna's was defeated. Not him just doing it purposefully.

Now it's possible Sukuna "died", and Sorcerer at the time bragged about defeating him thus becoming the official story (and it would explain why we never learn more about who was the goat who killed him back in the days).

But at my knowledge it was never said clearly in Jujutsu Kaisen, especially this part about him being mummified and revered as a god etc. is it from Modulo (haven't read that yet), or from a recent interview?

If someone has info would love to dive into it!

Ok it's a joke, but it's also interesting in why it couldn't work in my opinion even if Gojo do have the fund for that (since apparently he is super rich)

I'm not sure Toji have any kind of work ethic, but I imagine in this field it's not really good reputation to do that, kinda flimsy but still have to mention it.

When Gojo confronts Toji for the second time, he admits he took the job also out of pride and it was stupid, I'm pretty sure he wanted to fight with Gojo maybe more than the money itself

Gojo itself was way too proud to even think about loosing against him in the first place, so why bother

according to Japanese lip readers, his last words were "koishiteru ne, ryoukai," which is primarily used to express the deepest form of love. interestingly, Japanese people believe that this word shouldn't be used directly in manga, novels, or any form of media, as it would diminish the meaning of this beautiful term. this word is reserved for private use and is meant to convey a profound love, like "wanting to spend each and every breath with you" type of love. which makes sense why we never get to hear Gojo's last words to Geto.

Super interesting, if it's really reliable (I don't know how easy lip reading is especially on fictional characters), I wonder if MAPPA did this on their own because they were simping too, or if it's Gege true intention all along?

I remember reading that Gege said the words Gojo says to Geto were actually said in the manga, hence why people assume it's the line "you were the best friend I ever had" since he say this to Yuta afterward so now I wonder if it's just Gege (or his publisher) being coward or just MAPPA feeding us as they always do

As someone with a disability I’m puzzled when people say that Sukuna isn’t disabled.

Everything about him screams disabled. From obvious facial disfigurement and other anatomical disfigurement (like bones sticking out of his ears).

I’ve also come across the argument that him being evil means he can’t be disabled (because bad rep, which I get but there are other disabled characters even if they’re underused in the story), which… no??

Disabled people aren’t a monolith. And I don’t think Sukuna is meant to be seen as a role model. He’s clearly the antagonist in this.

Do you see Sukuna as disabled? Or not? And if not, why not?

So I never heard of this debate before, but I think it's interesting. First I look at the actual definition of it, I found this.

The CDC states, “a disability is any condition of the body or mind that makes it more difficult for the person with the condition to do certain activities and interact with the world around them”. From : https://udservices.org/which-term-use-people-with-disabilities/

So if you take the definition, I think being born with like 4 arms and a stomach mouth and all, could definitely be considered like a disability because it clearly affected the way he could interact around (being ostracized and all), I pretty sure even if he was well behaved he wouldn't have been invited to a tea party.

Now Sukuna himself doesn't consider himself being disabled, because he believes his body his superior, his second mouth and second pair of arm allowing him to do more jutsu making him the ultimate Sorcerer. I don't recall any moment where he would complain about his true form being uncomfortable or something like that. He sounds very comfortable in his own skin.

So socially disabled but not physically?
