Unreleased anime and cartoon based on the book «Peggy sue et les fantômes».

In 2006, it was planned to release a full-length anime directed by Mamuro Hosoda based on the book "Le sommeil du Démon". Unfortunately, the anime was never released. Here are some sketches of what the film could look like.

And in 2011, 2 Minute Productions was going to release an animated series called "Peggy Sue and the Ghosts", apparently originating from the first book in the series "Le Jour du Chien ble". Description of the series:

Un réveil qui ne sonne pas... Une coupure générale de courant... Un gigantesque accident de voiture... Une nuée d’oiseaux qui tombent raides du ciel... Des somnambules, tels des pantins inconscients, qui se mettent en péril en escaladant des immeubles... Rien de tout cela n’est le fruit du hasard, mais plutôt le résultat de méfaits perpétrés par des êtres étranges baptisés : les Invisibles. Et invisibles, ils le sont, ce qui leur permet d’agir en toute impunité... Depuis toujours, Peggy Sue est la seule à les voir, et elle seule peut les empêcher de nuire. Chaque fois qu’elle a tenté de révéler leur existence, Peggy Sue n’a récolté que moqueries et défiance ou, dans le meilleur des cas, une indulgence amusée. Aussi, malgré son énergie, est-elle devenue une enfant solitaire et réservée. Lorsque la série commence, Peggy Sue a 12 ans. Elle vient d’emménager à Point Bluff et appréhende son entrée dans un nouveau collège. Pourtant, malgré les apparences, c’est dans cette petite ville calme du Middle-West américain que sa vie va changer...  Peggy Sue découvre d’abord qu’elle n’est pas tout à fait la seule à combattre les Invisibles : un chien bleu télépathe est prêt à devenir son meilleur allié, pour peu qu’elle l’accepte comme il est... Elle apprend aussi que l’amitié et l’amour peuvent faire des miracles...
