It was against One Eyed Floyd, one of the cruelest pirates I've ever met.

He was drunk and I was bored (and drunk) and one of his crew had stolen this new thing, chess thing, from a ship! He explained us the rules and One Eyed Floyd yelled *impersonating Floyd* "WHO DARES TO CHALLENGE ONE EYED FLOYD?!"

The crew looked at each other. I sighed, bored, and stood up, dusting my shirt, "but if I win, I get your eye".

Floyd had one eye yes, but he owned by then a precious glass eye, that glimmered with iridescent magic. It was beautiful, I wanted it, and technically, I had one eye myself! -I assume you know, I have both eyeballs but one of them, I prefer not to show, so everybody thought I was One Eyed Illya myself.

He smirked with his rotten teeth and nodded. "But if you lose, boy... I keep your teeth".

Well, sounded scary enough. But, have you seen this smile? *Grins* What does that tell you? I won indeed, and the eye was delivered to me. However, I, knowing I had won more than his eye, Floyd's respect, shook my hand, closed my eye and said "keep it. You need it more than I do" and exposed my red eyeball, causing several men to yell "plague, plague!" whilst Floyd and I shared loud laughter.

Ah, those were the days ...

But oh, I diverted! Forgive me.
