Jules barely held in a snort when she finally recognized who she was trying to get passed by the way she answered her, “Yes ma’am,” Jules said sarcastically though the soft smile on her face, reserved only for the girl in front of her, betrayed the sting that would usually be in her words. She shrugged at Frankie’s question, “I wasn’t really paying attention to who I was asking to pass. But anyways, hi Frankie.”
