Buckets then, buckets now. #RoccoTurns8 in 3 days! Rocco always had a basketball in his hands as early as a few months old. If you follow #RoccoBasketballDiaries, you'd see the progression. But while he's expected to follow his old man's heart FLOTG (For Love of The Game), I never forced him to play ball. I'd take every opportunity of him wanting to do anything related to it. Then we got a PS4 for a gift, and then came Luka. You could say Rocco got loco over Luka! He plays him on PS4, make him score 100 pts (he REALLY needs to learn how to pass!!!). He is now obsessed to be an NBA player. Now #BasketballNeverStops for Rocco and he plays ball every day, shooting at the standard 10 ft hoop, learning different skills. Missing my boy's long hair! Rocco sported this look for a long time til he himself wanted to have a haircut (he loves having them!), plus his school requires him to have it short. Here he is at 6 singing to the delight of family and friends, "playing" the ukelele. He's an old soul singing just like em old school crooners (complete with vibrato!). Remember these? 🤣 Rocco had massive cheeks for the most part of his early years, but "lost them" when he became more active when he stepped in Grade School. Not only that, he also refused to smile! This sweet boy is turning 8 this month! Yesterday, he told me he can't stop thinking about me at school. He has always shown empathy and great sensitivity even at a young age.
