It was little chilly out, but Stef didn’t care as he sat out on the park bench. He’d been working too hard again and he needed to peace of the park to calm him. He sat back, looking out over the scenery when he heard someone come up to where he was sitting. “You can sit if you’d like.” He offered.
Bundled in his coat and scarf, a knitted bauble hat covering his bronze curls, Julian looked more like a walking pile of wool than himself. He’d been working late at the library that evening, as he had every day that past week, and while he was certain it would’ve been a better idea to just head home for the evening, the stars were too beautiful to ignore and a walk in the park seemed in order. Spotting a figure on a park bench, he’d initially planned to walk past with his head down, not wanting to disturb them but the familiar voice all but stopped him in his tracks. A small smile quirking up the corners of his lips, he nodded, taking a seat next to Stef slouching down into his coat to keep the cold off his face. “Thank you, sir. The stars are beautiful this evening, don’t you think?”
