Her arms rose out of the way when the books plopped onto her lap. When she read the spines, her eyes widened. The books.
"You know there’s still one flower left, so I’ve heard." Pausing, she flipped through the books quickly. "Fire tribe. At the base of the volcano."
Looking up from the books, her eyes watching the conjuring clouds, “I wonder why the one flower decided to bear the storm. It’s also a bit peculiar that the only area affected was of the location of those flowers..”
Turning to look at him, “But enough of that. I've heard that there is a fire and grass tribe pair going to get the flower. What’re we going to do about that?”
Flipping her head back to the book, a large diagram took up the whole page of the flower, having every part labeled. Eyes scanning, flipping through pages feverishly.
Whispering to herself, “We have to stop it. It’s…augh!” slamming the book shut, she put her hand on her forehead. other hand balled into a fist.
Julius smiled widely, listening to her tale. His eyes widened as she mentioned the storm. Had she pieced the story together? Did she know he WAS the storm? She didn't know. "Ssssshe. Hassss. It. I. Ssssaw. It. At. The. Festival." He paused, forcing his eyes to meet hers, waiting for her to look up as if he could command her with his mind. In fact, he could have, but didn't.
"A. Bellosssssssom. In. Her. Hair." Grass tribe, surely she would have it re-planted again. His head filled with an image of the red flower growing wildly through the forests of the island and he growled.
"We? Dear. Cordelia. We. Have. To. Do. Nothing. I. Sssshall. Do. What. I Do. And. I. Expect. You. Will. Do. The. Ssssame."
Julius turned, irritated by the day and ready to return home.
