Do you think Pearl ever missed other pearls?

That she would make jokes in small signs that no other gems get or even see. That she would long for understanding only to see nobody there. That she would feel the cold grip of orders but there is nobody that understands.

Do you think she apologizes in her head to other pearls for giving them false hope that they could escape their owners. That she apologizes over and over again on unhearing ears for being a fake. That she fears that the other pearls would blame her only for the worst case scenario to actually happen.

No pearl blames her, because they know what owners are like.

I love how Owen's been stumbling over tense's, like the first time he met Apo she said:

"We've met... or... we will meet... or... now, now we're meeting now"

It's just always been interesting to me, characters that can/have seen the future and if they ever really know what time they're in, cause they'd never know from the moment they're shown time.

Owen's just shown it well, and I love it so much and I want more.

Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet but we actually know Nobody’s name from Owen’s video. At 26:36 Owen and Apo talk about different people and their opinions on them and Owen says something along the lines of “the man who eventually is known as Theacon is interesting.” And that name doesn’t match anyone else.

Another observation I made that people probably know of is the fact that each champion is from a different time in history. Pearl reveals that she died after hitting something in her car, and each champion mentions different amounts of time that they’ve been walking the Styx. Someone (I forget who) says I feels like yesterday that they died, Nobody mentions walking for about 10 years, and Nikos mentions walking for nearly 100.

kills me how pan!martyn is such a clearly nonviolent person. when nikos surprises him, he says "I have a weapon, I could have taken your head off!" but he doesn't actually draw said weapon until afterwards, his primary instinct is to jump/run away from the problem. when they meet the ghast, he's the one that suggests "maybe he means us no harm" until he's proven otherwise.

during the voting process, he's very clearly averse to going in the arena. when he hears that both pearl and nikos wants to fight, he automatically proposes that they go in the arena instead and he doesn't have to. he repeatedly protests that he doesn't know how to use his abilities and that he doesn't want to fight anyone. in the arena, he tries to escape before realizing he can't. even on the mountain, he sends out the boar in order to prove to everyone that he is in fact Artemis's champion, not because he truly wants to fight. he doesn't resort to threatening actual violence until it becomes very apparent to him that everyone else wants his blessing. And even then, he reasons with cleo and makes a deal with her instead of attacking her.

he's more akin to a prey animal than a hunter, he always tries escaping before fighting out of sheer desperation. yet to everyone else, he's callous and arrogant and always has a bone to pick. he won't even tell them his name. no wonder they all voted for him, they don't know him at all.
