Now these might look like random numbers to you but these actually implement personal training rules such as: over training and rest, over reaching, 10% rule, periodization, and SAID.
For those who are scared, you can do this, it's designed for anyone to start with 20 and finish with 500 using modern science.
For those who don't think 500 squats are the same as 1 squat with 200 pounds consider this. It's not the exact same. But keep an open mind. Take the challenge and see if it doesn't dramatically effect your max. Say you weight 200 lbs and do 500 squats, that's lifting 100,000 lbs. And the quicker you crank it out the close it is to actually lifting that weight. Time and Intensity. 1 Max rep is power for only 2 seconds. 500 squats will probably take you quite a bit longer. Power for 20 minutes, 30 minutes? Anything taking that long is cardio. But if the speed is there it's still power. The difference is the blood vessels pump blood through instead of locking it in. So instead of pumping up and having temporary fake muscle mass, you have healthy, well nutrient supplied muscles. The muscles are red instead of white. Have you considered why fast twitch muscles are white, the same color of atrophied muscles. They don't get blood, they're susceptible to bacteria, and don't heal as well due to lack of red and white blood cells.
