Some more art for my AU project.
Sorry for zero posts as of late I’m currently busy with a lot and I have nothing to do other than work. However I made my design sheet for Barney, hope it’s decent.
I decided to Draw “Pepper The Giant Purple Dog” in my Artstyle for SilvercitySharks! I'm not quite sure if it's a girl or boy, however I LOVE the game So Far and cannot wait to play the full version!
Stumbler O'Hare:
Stumbler is one of the many unique characters created by Cogware Games, intended to debut in SHIPWRECKED as an exclusive character. Despite his exclusive status, he is considered a part of Bucky's gang, having a costume created which was seemingly only used for in-universe promotions for the game, at least until it was stolen.
Stumbler is one of the only three major characters of SHIPWRECKED 64 to seemingly not be an established Broadside Animation character, the others being Chief Wulf and J.D. Despite this though, he has a mascot costume and even appears in the commercial for the game which was filmed at Studiogrounds by Broadside.
Elizabeth Baker reveals in her tape in the Debug Zone that she and Connor Thomas came up with him thinking the gimmick of an armless character who still tried to do things with his hands would be funny. Unbeknownst to Liz, Connor came up with the idea in an attempt to hurt Mark, basing it off of Harley Mullins, Mark's wife, who recently had an arm amputated.
Liz considered making him a cook, but decided it would be redundant with Giovanni Goose already there. She came up with the idea to make him an artist while talking about how she'd already modeled a canvas for save points. Connor found it serendipitous that she'd made him a "hopeless romantic", as it reflected his own opinion of Mark Mullins.
In-universe, he was born on the island of Nulla Terra, with no memory of his parents. At an unknown point, he was attacked by a rabid wolf who was hated among the village, resulting in both of his forearms being torn off. Stuck in a pool of his own blood, he watched Chief Wulf approach with a rock in his hand, fearing he would be finished off, only for Wulf to instead kill his assailant and embrace him. This is one of the first times that he remembers being shown any kindness.
Before the events of the game, Stumbler and Wulf began to investigate the darker secrets of the island, though they were only able to get so far. The experience has proven traumatic to him; topics such as the Husk cause him great discomfort to talk about. Other things he was not aware of (such as the presence of Brandon Lester as a Dweller, and still other things he is completely incapable of discussing. To this day, he longs for the time before everything went wrong.

“It’s okay to Cry” - The Metamorphosis of Wallace Bryton
My drawing serves as a grim reflection of the 2014 film Tusk, specifically focusing on the tragic psychological and physical dissolution of the protagonist, Wallace Bryton. While the film is often categorized as "body horror" or a "dark comedy," my work focuses on the genuine, agonizing pathos of Wallace’s situation.
(Context below)
I felt a profound sense of sorrow for Wallace. Though he begins the film as an arrogant, somewhat unlikable character, no human deserves the systematic stripping away of their humanity that Howard Howe inflicts upon him. My art highlights the moment where the man is buried so deeply beneath the "walrus" that only his eyes—the windows to his remaining soul—can communicate his suffering. The quote featured in the piece, “It’s okay to cry,” is perhaps the most devastating line in the movie.
It is used by Howard Howe as a form of psychological manipulation, but in the context of my drawing, it takes on a more literal and empathetic meaning: Since Wallace can no longer speak, crying is his only remaining form of human expression. It represents the moment Wallace stops fighting the physical change and succumbs to the sheer weight of his trauma. It invites the viewer to move past the "gross-out" factor of the Walrus suit and acknowledge the weeping human trapped inside.
Through the heavy textures and the weeping eyes in this drawing, I wanted to show that the true horror of Tusk isn't the stitches or the tusks—it's the loneliness of a man who has been forced to become a beast, left with nothing but his tears to prove he was ever human.

I thought the concept for this scene was intriguing. He demonstrates to the player that he is, in fact, Jason Storm
by venting about how much simpler the game is without a scoring system, just like he did when he wrote a review about how awful the 98xx computer games were. In all honesty, it was the game's best scenario, with a wealth of information about each character's past and backstory.
For context here’s the scene:
