okay walk with me here but since carmen drew pants designs just think about him and his girl talkin' about fashion design. even looking through magazines and such and being "critics" of the clothes and how the models are styled.
and telling him that she makes her own clothes??? he'd die. like actually probably burst at the seams (no pun intended) if his girl told him that. and then he begs her to show him her prototypes and patterns for her clothes and he's listening so intently to her words and what she is saying -- because he's so in love because of her. everything she does makes him crazy, but this makes him insane, more insane than he normally is.
he just cant process how someone can be so perfect and be so much like him - to an extent of course - but he loves that his girl loves fashion as much (or more than) he does.
i can and probably will elaborate this if u yell at me because this has been on my mind for ages.
need my power back on so i can use my laptop to write for u guys. i suddenly started to be in the mood to write and write a recreational essay for abt five hours yesterday </3 i miss my electricity

her and carmen were trapped in their shared apartment. okay, maybe trapped is an overstatement, it was unnaturally freezing in chicago that day, which also happened to be the only day of the week that the bear was closed. sunday. and of course, because of how close it was getting to halloween, what better could they do than cuddle and watch a scary movie.
âwhich one do you want to watch, carmy?â she asked.
âwhat are my options?â he responded, he was never picky when it came to watching movies, or getting food, or anything really.
âummmm⊠the usual i guess. âit,â âthe shining,â âpet semataryâ... or you could come here and look for yourself.â she said to carmen, who was making dinner for the two of them.
âpick whatever you want, i donât really care what we watch, as long as weâre watching it together.â he winks towards her. she blushed in response.
âalright, looks like weâre watching the corpse bride then.â
âi thought we were watching a scary movie?â
âif youâre going to complain, come pick one of the movies out then.â she said, gesturing towards their pile of DVDs from years past.
ânah, itâs whatever, iâll watch the corpse bride with you,â he walks towards the back of the couch, behind her and says, âeven if it isnât scary.â
his voice sends shivers down her spine.
âis dinner ready yet?â she regains her composure.
âalmost, you want something to drink with your pasta?â
âsure, what are my options? wine or pop?â
âyep,â
âpop, iâm not in a wine mode tonight.â
âalright, you can start the movie now.â
âbut youâre not here yet, iâm not starting the movie without you.â
âfine, give me five minutes baby.â
after closer to ten minutes (carmen being ever the perfectionist) the movie starts and they start to eat their dinner, enjoying the silence between the two of you.
âhowâs your dinner?â
âdelicious, thank you making it for me.â
âof course, why wouldnât i make you dinner?â
âitâs just⊠you already cook all day, i just donât want you to think you have to make me dinner all of the time.â
âi like making dinner for you, and watching scary movies.â
âeven if theyâre not really scary?â
âeven if theyâre not really scary.â he responds, kissing her forehead and wrapping his arm around her.
i wanted to let everyone that cares to know that i will be participating in bearblr's promptober, but i most likely won't be doing day 5 & 15 (vampire and the free space, respectively) because 1. i don't really like vampires or vampire au's so i dont really want to write about it and 2. as of right now i can't think of anything for the free space, but that is subject to change if i think of something! just wanted to let you guys know <3

sigh... he's just a puppy i don't know how other way to describe him. like, imagine taking a nap on your couch after a long, taxing day on your mind, body, and soul, and waking up to carmy coming home and laying right on top of you. you know he needs someone to take care of him in this moment, so all you do is get him to sit up, with you in his lap, and just start kissing him until you're blue in the face as he tells you how hard his day was.
"no yeah- then this jackass came up to syd and was like-" you kissed his neck while he was telling you about his day.

essentially, i think that he's obsessed with you from the moment he first saw you. even if it was in elementary school when he first met you, he instantly becomes obsessed and wants to be your friend. but once middle school came around, then later high school, he realizes how much he wants you. like, wants you. he finally gets it through his thick head just how much he wants to be your boyfriend.
i'm thinking maybe he realizes how much he likes you beyond friends once other guys start noticing you too.
"who was that? that you were just talking to?" he said, lighting a cigarette.
"no one- and do you have to smoke near me? it's gross, lip." you respond, he's more than no one, but lip doesn't need to know that.
"sorry- and you seemed pretty into him. you fucking?" you felt like you had the wind knocked out of you with that question, especially with the bluntness of him just saying it.
"no-" you choked out, "he was just talking to me, tryin' to get my number, nothing special."
"yeah? just remember i could treat you better than that fucker."
"i'll keep that in mind" you answer back, leaning into him.
