It's wild to me that I've been posting my art for over 3 years now. While I definitely do feel behind on my progress or where I should be for my age, I also know it's not a race, and there's no harm in going the slow road for progression. Don't get me wrong, I love how far I've come in these years, but it's weird seeing your old art next to your current, ya know? The only thing I regret about my art is that I had such an absolutely miserable and awful art teacher in my last year of middle school, who had it out for me, it felt like, and he basically bullied me about my art to the point I just refused to draw again after that. I'd only draw to get his projects done, then I'd never do it again until another of his assignments. It wasn't until my sophomore or senior year that I actually decided to get back into art. I had an amazing art teacher and amazing friends who were artists, and when I watched them draw, it made me miss it so much just because of how happy they looked while doing so. I love art, all forms of it, and while I've had some bumps along my journey with it, I don't think I'd ever choose anything other than it to do for the rest of my life.
