Hi.

I know there’s a lot going on right now in the world that you’re all being asked to care about, so I’ll keep this brief.

This is Duke. He’s my 5 year old rescue boxer and the light of my life. He has cancer. It’s bad.

He’s in surgery as I write this post. I have been battling this alone and trying to get a diagnosis all year. I am financially tapped out by all the testing and this surgery was not cheap. I have to try everything I can, and this is one of my last resorts. Here is his GoFundMe link.

Anything is appreciated. He doesn’t deserve this and I have to fight for him. Thank you 🤍

I bought my favorite childhood lamp that got broken when I was a teenager. I searched for it online and in vintage stores for years with no luck. Something made me look last week and sure enough- 1 listing on eBay.

I got it today, turned it on, and sobbed for 5 straight minutes.

Life is weird and horrible and beautiful. I hope I always find the moments like this when it gets dark.

Today I had to run through Manhattan in a dress and heels to a dinner at a Michelin starred restaurant that I was late to, unexpectedly take the subway (which I have never done before - I do not live in New York) and still managed to make it before the first course.

It was very surreal and I did feel like Carrie Bradshaw.
