Ryan Murphy & co. did a grave disservice to this storyline.  If you’re going to give a ghost an iPhone, she should have been promoting the show from episode 1. How absolutely brilliant would it have been if we as fans could have been able to interact with Sally throughout the season? It would have not ruined the reveal at the end, in fact it, the opposite would have been true: they would have earned this ending.

After watching HBO’s season finale of The Leftovers I can’t help, but compare John Lowe’s break with reality with Kevin Garvey’s. I am incredibly sad that doesn’t take the time to fully develop their storylines. This “twist” is almost unforgivable. It’s one thing to nod to classic archetypes, but please add originality and earn it.
