"You have to be kidding me!" I yell out to my superior, who had not so kindly informed me of a new mission "I am not kidding agent, now please, I'm ordering you to go, and obtain access to that general's phone.'' I groan "fine. but don't expect me to do it happily ``I say, rolling my eyes.
I had been assigned to this mission with another agent, known as Shadow, he was quite infamous, for his resting bitch face. I had met him before this mission but it was a simple introduction, and I doubt he'd remember me. Besides I had much more important things to worry about, the instructions were short and direct. Get close to General Frazier, sync his device to G.U.N. 's system, and end the night without any suspicion to myself or G.U.N. and although unlikely, Shadow was selected encase of any confrontation that may occur. We were both top agents in our respective fields, I knew that the mission would be a success though that might just be my inflated ego talking.
Knock, knock, knock, I turn to the door, walking to it. I could only assume that it was my uniform for the upcoming event. Standing behind the door was the infamous agent himself, a small package in hand. "Shadow? I didn't expect to see you so soon" I moved slightly signaling him inside. He simply nodded his head and entered. setting the package on my small kitchen table, deciding that humor was the best way to ease the awkward silence, I began to talk. "soooo, you know the cover story?" he shook his head yes, his eyes seemed less intense after I began to take charge of the conversation, it was one of the many perks of specializing in infiltration missions, though this specific mission was not what I particularly wanted, not enjoying the idea of large crowds, it was too unpredictable.
I talked to Shadow more, mostly about the mission with the occasional side-tracked conversation. I was shown my disguise, a black dress, with one long leg slit. I had to admit, it was a cute dress, though not the style I would have chosen. Shadow stayed for about an hour, letting me know that he'd be picking me up about an hour before the party. Though not an ideal mission, I did enjoy the very spy aspect of it. It was straight out of a James Bond movie.
I had finally finished my makeup when Shadow arrived, it wasn't anything special, just eyeliner, mascara, and a little highlighter and blush. The dress was much more revealing than expected, though I did enjoy showing off my body. Shadow waited by the door, his black and red hair slicked back slightly, he looked amazing, especially with me next to him. I gotta admit, for an emo edge lord he cleaned up nicely. Once in the car, we both got more comfortable with each other's presence. Shadow began to actually joke around which was a surprise to say the least, but once we were about 15 minutes away from the party we began discussing the plan at length. "You'll be taking the lead on this assignment," shadow said, "I know, don't worry I'm an expert at this, I just need you to be around me at all times,"
"because men love to take what isn't theirs." I smirked
My plan was simple. I had done some in depth digging into this General Frazier, he was well known for his multiple affairs, specifically with young interns, around the age of 21-25, I ensured that I'd be his type, innocent, naive, stupid. exactly what he wanted. I would introduce myself, letting him know I was invited through my superior, who wanted me to get accustomed to his colleges, hopefully in that time have G.U.N. completely sync to his phone, in turn obtain access to his illegal activity. The hardest part of the plan was trying to find the prev.
Shadow opened the door for me, escorting me out politely. If I was stuipid, naive, and innocent I would have fallen for him then and there. Once inside the large building, its beautiful renaissance inspired architecture looming over me and Shadow, we were quick to find a general scumbag. The party began about an hour ago meaning that most people were a little intoxicated. which was perfect. Shadow held on to my waist as we navigated the sea of influential people, making our way to the large bar, quickly scanning the area for General Frazier. "There he is, second to last seat on your right," Shadow growled into my ear, sending chills down my back. There was said general, harassing a young server. I smirked. I made my way towards him signaling for Shadow to stay back just a bit. "Hello!" I quickly said, leaning slightly towards him. Before he could say anything I continue, "I've heard so much about you general Frazier! my boss talks very highly of you," I batted my eyes, he gave me a disgusting smirk. "Is that right?" he slurred, giving me a low chuckle, "Please have a seat" he gestured to the chair right next to him.
He began to boast about his advances and riches as I, unbeknownst to him, was gaining access to every single piece of data on his phone, along with anything it had been connected to. What i wasn't expecting was his hand to grab onto my thigh, the action making me jump immediately. "awww I scared ya?" He asked, that disgusting smirk returning. I simply laughed it off. God when would this end. He talked some more though I drowned out the majority of it. Until I finally felt a vibration, Finally, thank god. "I'm sorry but I really must get going," I said quickly, not giving him a chance to protest. I made my way back to the Shadow, looking worried? "Are you alright?" he asked, his tone concerned. "Yeah, I just really hate creeps like him." He gave me a sympathetic look before handing me a wine glass, "Don't worry its just sparkling cider, not alcohol" I smiled, thanking him before drinking it all. I stared at the glass for a second before putting it down on a table, grabbing on to shadow “let's dance hotshot”
“Wha-” I pulled him along to the middle of the room, where the music was blaring, and the heat of the other body's around us, made the urge to move much greater. I moved my hips, bumping slightly into Shadow, as he stood there, his face flushed. “I don't know how…” He trailed off, making me stop. “Don't worry” I grab his hands placing them onto my waist.
