The story of the Unicorn:
Everyone has seen Artemis from Sailor Moon, but I learned today about the unicorn. He’s sat under the Capcom sign in Mission Control.
His name is Eugene.
From Stan Love, lead Capcom (capsule commander) of Artemis 2:
Years ago, when the Orion spacecraft was part way through development, its hardware and software designs had so many flaws we wondered if it would ever fly. The joke in my office was “it’ll take a rainbow ninja unicorn to save Orion.” Jennifer bought the plushie, sewed its little ninja mask, named it, and kept it in the conference room as a humorous reminder of the importance of our work.
Sadly, Jennifer died young of cancer a few years ago. She can’t be in Mission Control to see Orion fly successfully around the Moon. But we put Eugene there to watch and cheer in her place.
Jennifer, you and Eugene made sure the Artemis crew made it home safe. Your rainbow ninja unicorn flew around the moon.
Predictions for episode 9.
About 5 minutes left in the show, no warning, mid sentence, everything just goes black and it cuts to the C&A building getting demolished while the credits roll and the cheerful music plays for the remainder of the episode. Just bulldozers pushing rubble for the last 15 minutes and no other answers. (The true nihilism and entropy ending)
Before that though:
Caine does come back either because his deletion was part of a reboot process. Or the humans use their own power of creation to bring him back because they miss him/need him.
Caine, having experienced mortality and a shift in power dynamics, finds himself being humbled and finally understanding humans. They all work together to make their eternal existences more meaningful. (Power of love and friendship ending)
Caine learns he can create his own meaning and gives up being an entertainer. Maybe he decides he'd rather make humans entertain him?
Before Caine comes back though, Bubble becomes the new main AI and lacks the out of the box thinking and creativity that Caine had. As a result bubble treats the humans even less humanly than Caine did. (The new bad guy is more dangerous than the old bad guy so we need the old bad guy back to defeat him - trope)
They can swear, so they can remember their names, and they can have sex and talk about it... (Fans scream with joy)
If they can remember their names too they may open up and share more about their past lives as well (more gangle and Jax backstory would be great)
they can bring back their abstracted friends by remembering them. Kinger gets his wife back but it's only his imagined memory of her, not the "real" her. (It's the- What does it mean to be human anyway? - ending)
We get a flashback with more lore on ribbit, kaufmo, and scratch. (Fans scream with joy)
They all choose abstraction. (Sad ending)
and a new person shows up right as they all leave. (Even sadder ending)
Or they all agree to abstract, and halfway through, a new person shows up and for some of them it's too late to stop, but they realize they shouldn't abstract in case they need to be there for someone new, but now they've lost half the group forever. (Super sad ending)
They leave a note behind in case anyone new shows up, telling them "if you're reading this you're in TADC and you can't leave, if you see monsters, that's us."
Time dialysis theory but the other way around: years in the real world feels like weeks in the circus. So even though kinger has been trapped from 1995 to 2008, mentally it's only been a few months/less years of "in game" day and night cycles. This gave Caine more time to come up with ideas and preserve power and data, and probably helps keep everyone slightly more sane. Without Caine the sun and moon are gone too creating a lack of meaningful time passage.
We learn what happens if you put the headset on more than once. Someone, maybe pomni or kinger, comes back and puts the headset on a second time and gets rebooted with new memories of the outside world. And without Caine they remember their own name immediately. Maybe they reveal the building is about to get demolished.
The new person who comes in is literally going to be the construction worker whose job it is to make sure the building is clear before demolition. He puts the headset on out of curiosity. And the group all has to calm down as they face the inevitable together.
Either way I think this will have the ending toy story 3 didn't have the balls to finish, killing everyone in the end 🥀💀😭😅
Everyone keeps drawing human Jax as a scruffy, chain smoking, burnout, loser. And I'm like... I bet he's actually blonde, and cute, like a little cherub. I bet he looks like fuckin hogarth from iron giant. I bet my boi looks like Adrien Agrest. You just know he's got a "don't call me cute" personality but he is, unfortunately, very adorable.

I noticed this when pomni and the group starts their verbal onslaught to distract Caine. They're each revealing a tiny projection about themselves.
Projection in psychology: "defense mechanism where individuals unconsciously attribute their own unwanted thoughts, emotions, or traits onto another person or group"
Pomni being a small time YouTuber and mild thrill seeker might see herself as a failure to be an entertainer, or worried about failing to truly listen to others and give people what that want or need from her.
Then there's Zooble who chimes in calling Caine childish and having a fragile ego. But we know her insecurity is in her body dismorphia, further reflected in her torture scene. She's generally insecure about her vainity or egotism.
Then ragatha, clearly still hung up on the treatment from her mother, she's projecting how she'd prefer to be treated by Caine, someone who isn't her mother. Which again Caine reflects back at her in her own torture. She is a chronic people pleaser, in an effort to be treated kindly, so she expects others to treat her the same way.
Then gangle gets even more obvious. This is just Spudsy's part 2. She's insecure about not being able to express herself both physically and artistically. Her torture scene solidifies that she feels trapped/overwhelmed by her emotions, that she can't control, that she had to quit being an artist for slave wages, Caine doesn't let them have their own adventures etc. She can't express herself properly.
Lastly Jax. It seems like this is VERY telling to what Jax's real insecurity might be. We can all vaguely interpret that Jax's torture scene means he's afraid of being stripped down by his peers and made to feel vulnerable. But this extra part pomni says I think reveals more. Pomni tells Caine "isn't is obvious? we wanted to bait you into trying your ideas on us, so we could make fun of you behind your Back!"
Jax tells Caine
"You lie to us constantly"
I don't think Jax is ONLY insecure about being vulnerable, but rather being vulnerable and someone using it against him. Using it to make fun of him behind his back. That's WHY the shadows of his friends are all laughing at him. That's what he's truly afraid of. He hates LIARS and people who would lie about being his friend to hurt him. That's why he always calls caine out on his LIES, and never reveals anything about himself. It's about vulnerability and humiliation but (I'm my opinion) it's about protecting himself from liars too.
The lines that form to create the circus also look like prison bars.
And that's very *chef's kiss*
It needs to be said but certain YouTubers are, I'm worried, not taking tadc seriously and are just generating "theory slop" to farm content. I won't name names, because that's rude and also I don't want to drive more eyes to that slop farm.
But holy shit. I really can't tell if people just didn't learn anything in English class about *how to read text and subtext* *what is symbolism* *what is the narrative* *what are the themes*
These sloppy theory based content farms that will just say anything about TADC and call it a "theory" don't seem to have a basic understanding of the source material. It's... genuinely offensive to the creators who worked hard on this show and have really really, (like objectively good, well executed,etc.) Amazing Story telling. Like gooseworx locked the fuck in at being a good writer/ director/story teller/ character designer/ using symbolism, color, reflections everything is DRIPPING with meaning and it's so delicious.
And to see slop farm crackpots just say random shit and call it a "theory" or "prediction". It's really sad and really taking up space from other creators who do understand the source material and actually have things of value to add to the conversation around the show.
All I can ask is that if you find what I'm talking about don't be afraid to dislike the video and don't leave a comment. Less engagement is better.

If that's the one in front of kinger it kinda has 2 meanings.
It means he subconsciously was cutting it in half to share with his wife who isn't there. 💔
And also the red and blue sprinkles represents the split in the combined red and blue ai from the beginning. The history of what Kinger scratch and their team created.

Guys. If Caine comes back. I think he'll finally be able to relate to the humans. because he finally understands the one thing all humans truly fear.... death.
Caine thought himself an infinite GOD. And he... died. He experienced MORTALITY. Kinger even says he "killed" not "deleted" Caine. And it wasn't even abstraction. He experienced a true and final END to his existence. You can see the full weight of this scary realization hit him half a second before it happens.
