I was thinking about this yesterday, WHAT THE FUCK IS HER LAST NAME DOES SHE HAVE ONE??? I once saw someone suggest her last name was Lynn and her first name was Brooke which I take to be canon because nothing else was offered to us

I haven't seen many people talk about this but this is easily one of the top 5 scenes in season 4 to me. There's just so much love in this scene, so much "I missed you so much, I can't lose you again". It really made me emotional.

Ben and Brooklynns friendship is underatted I'd say. I'd Bens strongest friendships are with Yaz or the other boys and Bs strongest is with Darius or Kenji but him and B have a special friendship. He was the first one to know she was alive and here hes telling her not to sacrifice himself because they can't lose her again. Although to my memory they don't have much of a friendship in the original? But i mean friendships change amd grow and these kids have grown up so it makes sense.

I love their friendship so much because it is obvious that the bond between them grew deeper pre-events in Chaos Theory. They found a unique way to bond (conspiracy theories/Dark Jurassic) - it's one of these friendships that "sneak up on you". You don't even realise how close you are until the "oh, I really trust you both with dumb shit and massive revelations" moment.

Not only was Ben the first one to know that B's alive, but he also listened to her when she asked him to keep it a secret. It wasn't easy, it was a burden that could have backfired on him (and it did!), but he still listened. It's so important because, I'm pretty sure that in jwct S3 Kenji says something along the lines of "we are your friends too why didn't you tell us" and like... Ben didn't tell them because he applied the same "rules" to all of his friends, including Brooklynn.

THIS MAKES SO MUCH SENSE YES also i love that their friendship grew because it shows that things happened in between cc and ct, Brooklynn and Ben genuinely didn't interact much in CC but its so clear they became closer in between which REALLY helps with the passing of time. The same applies for B and Yaz i feel because they were friends in the og but they clearly became so much closer

aroace Darius has been there all along and I can’t believe I’m just now seeing it.

from the moment in nublar that Ben said he loved Darius and he just responded with “we make quite a pair, huh?” it’s been foreshadowed.

also, when he accidentally said he loved Brooklynn and she was so shocked? I know the camp fam has said they love her hundreds of times platonically, so her reaction to him saying “I love you” implies that isn’t normal for him to say.
