(Posting this was my excuse for rambling about my predictions for the last two episodes, which is below)
Okay so first of all: Caine handles emotions terribly. He blue-screens when excited, and breaks in other ways when he has any negative feelings (see: every other interaction he has with Zooble, the aftercredits scene for ep6, and possibly whatever that was after Gangle's employee evaluation in ep4)
My prediction is a lore drop telling us that Caine's not just an AI, but an AI that gained sentience unintentionally. For this reason he can feel human emotions, even though his programming evidently sucks at handling the stronger ones.
If I'm correct and Caine IS sentient, then it'll make my second prediction a bit more painful for the Caine fans: I predict Ragatha's gonna finally completely snap, and not hold anything back when confronting Caine (which'll probably break him and bring the show to its climax idk). I feel like we'll see the peak of her character arc really soon, and I really dunno what else could happen as a result of it
This'll all probably happen in Episode 8, unless we get a lengthy episode-long flashback introducing us to some characters that already abstracted. Then my predictions would probably happen in Ep9/the finale, which also makes sense in my head.
Caine's my second fav, can't wait to see what happens when he reaches his limit 😃👍

I used Jammy as warmup before I started working n the gift,
and this is as far as I got
I forgot how anatomy worked so I had to study some figures with Easy-To-Draw Ali
(I'll edit this post if the creator of the last pose is ever found; I found all of these on Pinterest and was lucky enough to find tumblr accounts associated with the other two drawings based on their signatures. The last one just brought up a bunch of posing sketches when I reverse-image-searched it)
It's a little rough around the edges but I'm proud of what I was able to put on display here.
Head turned successfully! Now, I'm hoping to get better at the process as time goes on so including more details (namely the face) becomes viable in later animations. For now, though, we sacrifice what we need to. 🐸
I'm following a list of prompts and "brick falling off a shelf" should've been way simpler than I made it out to be. I wanted Something That Reads As A Brick to fall off of Something That Reads As A Shelf, and not just a rectangle falling off a rectangle. You get me?
This practice actually helped me get a feel for positioning the ball in each frame (without the end result looking awkward). Hopefully tumblr doesn't completely shred the quality, because this was done in 24 fps and honestly I think it's helping me improve my patience w/ lineart more than it is teaching me the animation fundamentals
I'm long past due for introducing any of my characters on this blog, since I've already shown them off like 3, maybe 4 times already? Ah well. Here's the main two, Jammy & Ali. If you can't tell which is which, check the image descriptions that I spent like half an hour typing out:
They're best friends! Since I'm such a big Mario & Luigi fan, I often use the plumber brothers to compare to the personalities of these two: Jammy is the taller, more easily-frightened one, Ali is much more willing to stand up to a challenge. However, Jammy is also the jollier fellow (whenever he isn't acting shy) while Ali can store more facts in his brain. They're both somewhat like Mario, but also both somewhat like Luigi. There's not really any significance to me making this comparison, since they're supposed to be their own characters and not just half-Mario, half-Luigi frankensteins 🐸🐸
