Because it feels like I have to say this to not be deliberately misunderstood: I don't have anything against romantic grocky shippers (maybe slight personal frustration but that's my issue to deal with)

That being said I have seen multiple people descend into "there is no platonic explanation for this" type of talk after the deleted scenes came out which really fucking sucks. They are best friends, the story is about platonic relationships, that doesn't change because the character *checks notes* looked at someone with admiration.

Play with you dolls all you like but the moment you try to tell anyone it's canon because "Friends don't look at eachother that way" you are playing into amatonormativity. I have all the romantic ship tags blocked and I still see this shit. I'm actually so tired of existing in fandom spaces as a romance repulsed person. Does anyone hear me or am I going insane.
