Thinking about lrb because how many people his own age is Jason shipped with? Tim and? I don't know if SBP had his age slowed at any point but if I'm going off when he was introduced, he's, what, 4 years older? And really it's because DC tries to act like Jason's in Dick's generation so that's who he interacts with and it's who fandom thinks of him with but it is funny how these things coalesce.
