my og farm princess…i love her more than anything and i miss coming up with lore for her SO here’s another introduction

she’d be absolutely the most painful to gift if she were a npc but idrc she likes what she likes!! nothing less than the best for MY daughter

sigh i wish we actually had a cool scythe weapon in game but tbh i’ve turned her into more of an Explorer and her fighting skills aren’t up there with the rest of the adventurer’s guild especially with the stardew expanded characters but she can hold her own to a certain degree

wren’s got lots of friends and ppl she’s got beef with this time around since i’ve been playing with all the expansion mods that add a million npcs. she’s generally liked especially by the characters who lean towards the magical mystical side but she keeps her circle small

she doesn’t rly have true beef with anyone yet unless my mind conjures something up but she’s definitely less enthusiastic to see certain people COUGH maive from rsv and ykw the rest of her family too and juliet from east scarp COUGH and will just turn right around and go another way if they were to almost cross paths

i’ve done 8320562 redesigns of her buuuuut i think this is my favorite and the one i’m obv the most happy with i really had fun drawing her poncho and also coming up with seasonal ponchos for her which i will draw sometime soon yiiiipeeeee

Hey Cacti 💕!! I really love your art! I read your story too and I'm invested. 👀 Fiore and Wheedle are such a great match! Fiore's parents were mentioned and now I'm curious lol. What was her relationship with them like? Unless that's spoilers?? And does she have any siblings?

Hi, thank you so much !!!!! I really appreciate the interest and the question! ♡

I want to explore her relationship with her parents more. I wrote a bit about her parents in an old post! Fiore comes from a background where family is important. The opera house lifestyle was strict (no time for traditional school, no time for friends/dating outside of the opera house). I think her parents would have eased up if Fiore had spoken up, but she instead let resentment silently build. Ultimately, they wanted what they believed was best for her. Fiore's parents did not mistreat her. They were encouraging of her and praised her abilities, and she had everything she needed. But they did not teach her much in terms of social skills and self preservation, so she was and still is stunted. More below since it's long:

It's important to me to depict how even a more stable family dynamic could still push Fiore into the arms of someone like Music Lover (the mystery man from Chapter 8; he has a name and a drawn appearance, but I won't share that because I want to keep him more foreboding figure). And it's additionally important to me to depict how stable parents sometimes don't know how to properly respond to tragedy, leading to even more feelings of isolation. I want to explore the gray areas of people and relationships in my story. People are complicated !!! I have vague ideas of the possibility of her having siblings, but I want to see where her story goes. In my mind, if she does have any siblings, they would be around the same age as her.
