I think playing deltarune as if the game is assuming you've played undertale before is really funny because like yeah imagine being Kris in that scenario. Imagine waking up with some entity on the other side of some barrier you can't see through inside of your soul and they're treating your mother like she's their mother, and they somehow know and have friendly emotions towards most of the adults in your small town including one that moved in yesterday and therefore you have never seen before and they also know this guy's brother and wants to see him even though you don't even know his name, and they also like. know your brother, and act like they've met him before and are for some reason very sad about him.
Your mom gets dressed for church and your soul is yelling "ITS THE UNDERTALE OUTFIT!!!!"
You sing a silly wrong number song to berdly on the phone while at noelles house. Your soul is yelling something about fun values
You come home to the local grocery store janitor dancing with your mom, and your soul starts yelling that they have fought him before and knows how to kill him.
Susie draws you, herself, and ralsei on a postcard for the janitor. Your soul is foaming at the mouth.
You talk to some random monsters near the takoyaki stand. They are talking about nonsense. Your soul seems to be crying.
You go to the next dark world and meet some random twink. For some reason your soul keeps yelling "FLOWEY!" even though that is not his name. It also seems insistant that this guy is evil.
You see your dad in a suit of armor and once again your soul is yelling about undertale outfits.
At seemingly random points during your adventures your soul shouts about this guy named "gaster"
You know, yeah no wonder kris hates us.
