It's been so long since my last Marketeers Seminar session so it's kinda nostalgic and yet Hermawan's speech is still inspiring and insightful as always!
There are many startups in Indonesia but this I truly have high hope for this one as I think it will help a lot of business especially SMB in Indonesia as in my past works, I have seen how they been struggling doing the manual way in doing HR management.
Still thinking that rebranding have no impact to your business? You may want to learn from Tropicana's case.
Check out some fun facts about Ikea and its social media profile stats. It's Instagram account is worth to follow, IMO :)
Dear brands, do you have what Seth Godin mentioned as two important elements of an apology when you say sorry to your customers?
I love the concept of Volkswagen SmileDrive app. That's why this video of the creative process behind the app is really interesting for me :)
This article is totally an eye opener for me.
I've seen how brands doing the same thing mentioned here where they usually put the claim, "new and improved" usually together with their new packaging design and such.
But yeah after reading this, I'm wondering that actually I never get a really clear information of what actually is the "new and improved" that those brands claims.
These study cases from fashion and beauty brands using digital technology for their marketing and branding activities are worth to learn.
Check it out!
Rebranding for some can be really exciting but for some it is also as scary as hell because you never know what are your customers' responses to it.
Just asked GAP, Coca-Cola, AirBnB (cos its "ladypart" look alike) and recently, Tropicana.
Put aside the question of what exactly the relation between a chicken burrito with this romantic-yet to good to be true-love story, this ad is beautiful IMO.
Through the years, we have seen brands doing musical experiments. Some of you may still remembered the time when Old Spice done one with their muscle music or Electrolux with its ergothree music project and not so long ago, Sunsilk with its violin strings made by hairs.
And now we have Gillette with the same (strange yet cool) musical experiment. To promote the “utter flexibility” of its new product, Gillette Fusion ProGlide, Gillette with the help of Grey NY has invented the (innovative?) way to play the piano rigged with 88 razors. How's that sound like? You better see err hear it yourself :)
The conflict that happened between Israel and Palestine is hurting both countries and doesn't benefit everyone. That's why the Palestinian Israeli Bereaved Families for Peace with the help of BBR Saatchi & Saatchi Israel agency is making this online advertising campaign calling for peace titled, "We Don’t Want You Here”.
The ad features Palestinian and Israeli residents who have lost a close family member to the conflict between the two nations where they simply want to remind everyone that this (the conflict) had to stop as they don't want anymore people experiencing the lost they had.
You know some of these big ad agency like Ogilvy, JWT, Leo Burnett but do you know which one is the best when we take a look at their online presence?
Take a look at this list by PIVOTSTACK that measuring 50 ad agencies in the world (covering UK, USA, Netherlands, Canada, Korea) by their online ranking, based on Facebook fans, Twitter and LinkedIn followers and Alexa rank.
Check out if your favorite or chosen ad agency is on the list or better is one of the Top 10 :)
Just like this wonderful ad from Maxis said, "Sometimes the best way to connect is to switch off".
Let us "connect" especially with those who dear to us in this Idul Fitri days.
Happy Idul Fitri to all my friend who celebrate it.
Interesting to know this behind story of Airbnb recent rebranding :)
Airbnb, the one company who succeed in disrupting the business model of hospitality have just rebranding their brand identity and it's gorgeous IMO.
I totally love brand identity who are simple and most importantly have strong reason and great meaning behind it.
This is not simple rebranding because it is not just covering their identity visually but the brand spirit and DNA of the company as well. Not to mention the redesign of the Airbnb website, the heart of the brand.
Great job, Airbnb team and its creative agency, DesignStudio!
PS: As to further communicating the brand's essence, they even endorse people to customize the logo online.
