The way Moominmamma talked about the Groke here (in Moominpappa at Sea) is really fascinating to me, she's not usually this mean about anyone, and she almost seemed avoidant to talk about her any more than needed.

Oh yeah, and happy birthday to the Lighthouse Keeper!

And before anyone hops on Moominmamma's case the whole sympathy aspect of the Groke was not introduced except for a singular line of pity from Too-Ticky in Moominland Midwinter (2 books before MPatC) and she was very much depicted as antagonistic everywhere else in the book series, including the picture books. That 90s Groke smile is a LIE!! (Half-joking)

Day ?? Of making my best friend a cool bag for her birthday with very little experience

Here’s the concept design, I’m a bit nervous but excited to finally make her a home made gift, she always makes me things and I buy store bought stuff. I want to make her something for once!

This is some old art I made when I was getting inspired to write a Moomin fanfic, midway through writing the third chapter I realized I can’t write! Probably should have realized that before I published the first two chapters on Ao3, oops!

(They were being stuck together in the woods trying to find the Moomins in a way where I could narrate them as myself. It was fun but I suck at writing- as previously stated)

A thorough collection of photos of my walk!

I was going on a walk since I realized I had just been sitting around all day thus far, so I’m walking through a neighborhood a whiles away from my own and it’s beautiful out, it’s sunny the sky is blue and everywhere I go the air is thick with the gentle aroma of jasmine flowers! And then I stumble across a trail I’ve never seen before, these are pictures from that trail! The grass was totally itchy but it was worth it!

(I live right in the middle of the country and suburbs so you’ll be walking around a normal suburban neighborhood then suddenly you’re in a field surrounded by hills, it’s pretty nice <3)

The Moomins tea my friend got me has a Moomin character on each flavor, honestly I thought just the box was gonna be Moomin themed but this is so fun! <3

My friend constantly makes fun of me for liking Moomins but she saw this in a store and bought it for me so…. All is forgiven <3

(I was so happy because it was just like a normal morning at school and then she gave this to me!)
