Saw spider-man brand new day, my overall non-spoiler thoughts are as follows:

#overall it was a fun movie!#some minor gripes here and there #and some messaging that felt really off that is pretty standard in mcu stuff #I'll probably delve into it more when its been out for more than a few days

Also hi! sorry for the disappearance on here. I took a bit of a step back to reprioritize/figure out where I am going with life, especially with the current state of things (maybe one day I'll make it into the animation industry, but for now I'm just going to take it easy and explore other options).

In Illinois, about 1.9 million people rely on SNAP benefits for support. In the month of November, the United States Government will decide to cut those benefits. This will leave many people and families at risk of hunger.

The Greater Chicago Food Depository helps the people of Cook County fight hunger, but will be faced with a high influx of patrons when this happens. This is why I am holding this fundraiser. My goal is to raise at least $500 for the food depository. According to their website, a $100 donation provides 300 meals. If we reach $500, we can provide 1,500 meals. A good starting point. All the funds will be donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. I hope that the donations will help with the program in any way during these times.

Will say, the fact that the run ended on such a fun cliffhanger with Plas and Woozy being wanted by the law because they basically "went rogue" and infiltrated a military operation and just-

If you're talking about the artist...I've never heard of any slander against her, in fact she is highly regarded and well beloved. I only saw one person in the letter page wish for a different artist, but it was quickly shut down.

If you're talking about the character from BBATB, I personally haven't seen much slander? There's some people critical of her, absolutely, but she was a character who appeared once and never again in a cartoon. Unfortunately, much like other love interests, she just never stuck around or gained much character outside of being a source of conflict for Plastic Man.

A lot of people ship him with bats, or woozy, or angel, or green lantern, or zauriel, etc etc etc. There's no right or wrong, it's fiction, just have lots of fun with!

#I don't wade into the tags all too much so I could be missing something absolutely #but if this is related to ships #then the only advice I can give is to find joy in the ship even if it's not popular

#the comic shop guy just watched me grab a stack of eight comics with utter glee and gave me a discount lmao #but really #my absolute favorite version of woozy #miss sundae supplement one day you will be brought back I swear #Foyles beef with Plas #Dolly coming out of nowhere? Ma'am who are you oh my god #It's...odd seeing Plas so wrapped around her finger when Coles version was more #aware #like he would have been like okay bye? Like its Woozy behavior not Plastic Man #Plas turning into a taxi to drive her and the guy she ended up seeing off like #anyways plaswoozy still reigning supreme in my brain and this run keeps it up
