i feel like more people should play with the fact that the 2012 universe will not let raph swear. like not even the kids show “they don’t know swears” logic, literally “raph knows swears and is trying so hard to get them out but people keep interrupting him.” i need comic bubbles to conveniently overlap his. i need mikey’s fat head in the way. i need animated stuff to suddenly cut to the next scene. i need the universe itself to not let him swear

also while all this is going on imagine that as time goes on (and splinter is not in the house rip) the other turtles start swearing more and…it’s fine. the universe lets them swear just fine and raph has to fume knowing the next time he tries to say fuck a police siren is going to cut him off or something
