I'm kinda into the idea of Soshiro obsessively texting Kafka while Kafka and Kikoru are in England with Chester. Soshiro, who is usually 100% confident, can't help but feel a bit insecure that his boyfriend is meeting someone so impressive. It riles up his buried inferiority complex and fear of growing obsolete. So, even though he knows it's ridiculous, he bothers Kafka the whole time.

Of course, his fears are entirely unfounded because Kafka would never suddenly leave to find someone "better". However, Soshiro still shoots Kafka hourly check ins ("How's the trip?" "Is Kikoru adjusting well?" "Say hi to Izumo for me." "Have you been eating healthy?" etc).

He nearly cries in relief when Kafka mentions that Chester has a wife and kid.

I'm sure Kafka would pick up on Soshiro's anxiety and hurry back as soon as he's able.

Once the whole trip is over though, Soshiro denies being worried at all and it right back to teasing Kafka.

Is anybody gonna mention the subtle hoshikaf??

Hoshina is confirmed as one of Kafka's friends! I don't think Kafka has referred to Hoshina as his friend until now. It's always just "that's the vice captain and I don't want to let him down" but now he's a "caring friend" :)

(Please correct me if I'm wrong though, I do forget small details!)
