Because Harry could blame anything on Scrimgeour, call him incompetent and worse than Umbridge, tell him that he imprisoned the wrong people, etc, but Scrimgeour just won't let this arrogant child taunt him with the name of the man he knew for decades longer, the man who he fought with side by side, and the man that he was probably mourning a lot more than Harry could imagine.

Me after seeing your Charles/Diana vampire fic idea: I raise you this - fanfic where Diana survives the 1997 car crash and reconnects with her cousin, Jo Berry, just to mess with Charles (two years after 1997, Jo Berry would go on to befriend the Brighton Bomber just to put some context into why Diana would see reconnecting with her cousin, Jo, as a way of intimidating Charles)
