I consider any Caribbean island my home - I am not tied to any language - the culture is what I connect with ... #Guadeloupe #2015
Some never digitally disconnect - even when spending time with close friends they are scrolling through their FB and IG time lines, texts or emails ... I enjoy putting away my phone when spending time with the people that are close to me - show them that their time is valuable to me ... I like being in the moment ...👍🏼 #guadeloupe flight

Anyone they knows me know that I grew up on a bicycle. As far back as I can remember, at the age of 4 I had my first bicycle, it was a 3 wheeler I rode up and down my drive way in Brooklyn. When I was turner 5, we moved to the Caribbean [#carriacou] to love and I got my first real bicycle. It was a huffy bicycle with out any training wheels. I was so psyched. It was the coolest thing I could remember. We bought it from my Uncle Kim's store back when it was still located near my Grand Mothers Guest House. It took me half a day to leaner how to ride it with out training wheels. I pushed myself off from a wall on the side of our house and tried to pedal; my legs weren't long enough at the time. When it was time for me to stop, I literally threw myself to the ground with the bicycle. To me the joy of learning was far greater than the pain of landing somewhere in the bushes in the back of my house. The feeling I got from finally learning how to ride it was phenomenal. I rode that bicycle everywhere, everyday. I rode it down the drive way of a man [Russle] that lived on top of a hill. I went to fast!! It had these neat pedal backwards brakes that I would jam on when I was in a patch of dirt to make the back wheel slide sideways. I felt like the coolest person around. Growing up after that I owned multiple mountain bikes, and was even part of a bike crew in my village [pleasy bike crew] . Now present day, before getting this bike, I haven't owned or ridden a bike the way I used to in nearly ten years. Getting this bike felt like that first day my Uncle sold my mom my first huffy bike. This is my first road/racing bicycle. I'm in love with it. Who's ready to go riding with me? I need a cool bike crew any suggestions? 😜😝💥💥
