some notes from my bio class! this class has the best lectures, i think i might enjoy them more than my psych class. i had my midterm yesterday and i actually think it went really well!

also does anyone find that their handwriting improves so much throughout the year? looking at my notes from september, its hard to that the same person wrote those! i barely wrote anything over the summer so my handwriting must have gotten worse.

if you don't know where to even start, look for the subject requirements and use it as a guide of which topics and concepts you need to be able to recall/explain.

Don't forget to review all the exercises and exam examples you can get your hands on!

Professors are lazy, so they often reuse past exam questions ;)

august 4th, 2021 | what’s in my pencil case 2021 edition! because of online school most of my supplies now stay on my desk instead of inside my pencil case, so i decided to go with something smaller and more lightweight for the few classes i have that are still in person and i love it!

sometimes, three essays written in less than four days feat. hours of procrastination, and finished on a day before the deadline, can get much better grades than the essay you worked really hard on, and that's okay

I published my first youtube video today! I sometimes post pictures of my notes here, but it’s hard to capture everything in a few photos. I also see a lot of videos about taking notes with fancy headers and pretty doodles, but as a busy STEM student, I simply just don’t have the time for it. This is just a little flip through of some of the notes that helped me the most.

So here’s a look at some of my tiny diagrams, correction tape, and pages crammed in before finals. I hope it helps to give you an idea of what worked for me throughout my classes!

07.18.21. i've realized that i'm most productive in the morning, but i have to be at work at 9am sharp. solution: waking up early, dragging my limp, uncaffeinated body to the library, and trying to work on postbacc apps for an hour before work. being an adult... wouldn't recommend.

I've added a few more things to my new workspace. I feel so happy with it now. I love it so much when the sun hits it in the morning. It makes me feel so calm.
