Beautiful riverside boutique hotel. Sit in the gardens and have a beer as you watch tourists being pushed by on rafts. The famous Guilin karst mountains are a scenic backdrop to the hotel. Every Christmas locals from the area around the town of Washington Crossing reenact George Washington's famous crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas Day 1776. The event is held at the Washington Crossing Park where the original crossing occurred. It was a surprise attack on the British troops who were camped near Trenton and which secured Washington a much needed victory and a major morale booster for his troops.
