A/N: I saw this prompt and I was in love!! I’m sorry that I haven’t uploaded for so long, I was super stressed and nothing worked and now I’ve found a way to chill soooo here’s a Jongin scenario. (I just broke my heart with it lalalala)
He was perfection.
His eyes opened slowly but steadily and with every passing second he moved more. He was testing out the leather strips that held him on the table in a matter of minutes.
Then his eyes found you. The almost black orbs which looked so real bored into yours and gave you goosebumps. His erratic movements faded.
“Where am I?”
You gulped. The voice was more beautiful than you had imagined. Prettier than you had thought. His words felt like a hot cocoa with rum on a rainy Sunday evening, the calm before the storm.
“In my lab.” Your voice was shaking more than you were willing to admit. “How do you feel?”
Your creation was better than anything you ever had done before. You had been able to build speaking artificial intelligences before but none of your mechanism had ever been so complete, with a skin like dark honey mixed with gold and hair as silver as what your great grandmother had told you what the moonshine had looked like.
He cleared his throat. “A bit dizzy. Who are you?”
And you told him everything about you, who you were and where you were and the longer you spoke you let more and more details slip in, about the world you lived in and who he was. You told him about your job and finally you told him that he was not natural, that he was artificial, that he was your creation.
He was surprisingly understanding. He accepted his fate; that you build him to have a helper by your side, someone who made you coffee and stacked your papers and held pieces when you were working on the robots for the government. Someone who had an exceptional memory to remind you of codes that you could use.
Days faded into months and into a year and you had found a name for him. One, that was beautiful, but not as beautiful as him; one, that matched his outstanding looks and angelic voice. You had named him Jongin and at the sound of that name his black orbs had lit up, because what was a name? He said it was a title for his personality and you fought back the comment that you had created his personality.
A friendship evolved, with laughter here, sarcastic comments there and constructive criticism. He was perfect, indeed, and you noticed more and more every day that he was the best thing you had ever created.
An especially tricky job was the reason for you and Jongin hiding in your lab and working on nothing else than the code for a spy when the discussion came up.
“So you think I can’t have feelings?”
His voice was not as angelic as it usually was, he sounded angry with a hint of desperation.
“I know that you have feelings, Jongin. I’m just saying that love, no matter for what, isn’t in your programmed code.” Your teeth sank into your bottom lip when you rewrote a small fragment of the code in front of you.
He ran his hands through his silver hair and sat down on the chair behind you. “You said it yourself: You build me in a way so it’s possible that my mind evolves. You wrote my code so that I was able to develop.”
You finished typing and turned around. “No, you are written in a way that allows your system to take in new information. Means, you are able to learn. I gave you fixed emotions and love is not one of them.”
Jongin stood up and tapped twice on his left chest, where, at least in humans, the heart was. “Well, you obviously made a mistake, because I am in love! I’ve fallen, deep, deeper than any tunnel goes and deeper than you know me. I’ve fallen for you, my dear, and there’s nothing I can do about it.”
And he went on and on and spilled out his heart like royal blue ink on wet paper and as he finished the paper was all blue and dripping blue tears, only that his tears were as silvery as his hair.
“Go ahead, rewrite it, rebuild me”, he whispered, his lips closer to yours than ever, “no code can change the fact that I love you.”
You knew it was a mistake that you didn’t say or do anything but you weren’t able to move as he pressed his cold lips against yours and you felt the desperation in your stomach and when the fire of excitement ran through your veins you realized your mistake and pushed him away.
The heartbroken look in his eyes broke you and it broke you even more when he refused to take his eyes off the ceiling as you put the leather strips around his ankles. You didn’t speak, how could you when even looking at him hurt like you were standing right in a campfire. You took the tiny flash drive from your desk and walked towards his head.
“Jongin”, you whispered, with tears in your eyes burning like fire, “look at me, please.”
And he did. His dark orbs looked at you and you saw the same kind of sadness in them that you felt in your heart and your stomach and in every cell of your body.
“I’m so sorry but I’ll lose everything if I allow this to happen.”
And then you weren’t able to speak anymore. Your throat was scratchy and you had to look away in order to not lose your mind and say Fuck it.
You touched the spot behind his ear and a small opening appeared.
“I know.”
His angelic voice sounded like shattered glass and you realized how much of a fallen angel he had become when you stole a last glance at him and put in the flash drive with the virus that would delete every fragment of his code.
You crashed on his chest the moment his eyes closed just a few seconds after and never opened again.

I’m so so sorry that it took me so long to write this. Maybe it’s because a lot of myself is in this scenario, I don’t know. Well, here it is.

“I just don’t know what to do anymore“, Sehun sighed. “She’s never been more distant. I can hear her crying every night, she refuses to eat and talks neither to Hyerin nor to me. What should I do, hyung?”
To be honest, Joonmyeon didn’t know what to do either. His daughter was an outgoing, always cheerful girl, so he never had to think about such problems. But what Sehun described, sounded serious. “Take her to a doctor. Sometimes our kids can’t talk to us parents. It happens from time to time.”
Both men were quiet for a few minutes, stirred in their coffee cups without drinking, staring out the window of the café without noticing the woman with the way too colorful umbrella and the Corgi.
“Doesn’t that make us bad parents?” The words coming from the younger man were so quiet, Joonmyeon almost overheard them.
“No.” He was silent for a second. “It makes you amazing parents, because you are able to mark the point where parents can’t do anything else for their child than taking them to a professional. That points out your strength and your maturity, Sehun.”
The younger boy didn’t look up from his cup. “If you say so.”
“Just do it. You will see, it will work.”
You could hear the front door opening and quickly closed the text document on your laptop. It was a suicide note. Your second one in just three days. You were not able to find any strength lately. No strength to go to school anymore, no strength to talk to your parents, no strength to breath – no strength to live.
You curled yourself up in your blankets, feeling empty. There were no tears to cry anymore, no words to scream, no sobs to let out. Just emptiness somewhere around the area where your heart should be.
Steps outside of your room told you that your father was in front of your door. Shortly after the steps came to stop, he knocked. “(Y/N)? Can I come in?”
To be honest, you wished you could say no. But you remembered the night two weeks ago very well. He had heard you crying that night, he had found a drawing you scribbled in which you hung yourself. He had cried that night, alone in his room. Because your mom hadn’t been there, just as she wasn’t now.
“Yes, come in”, you muttered, sitting up straight as the door creaked open.
“Are you hungry? I brought some take-out.” Your dad tried to smile but you could see sorrow in his eyes and dark circles under them.
You opened your mouth to decline, but your growling stomach answered the question for you. Your dad’s eyes lit up, for the first time in two weeks.
The tiny stars in your dad’s eyes stopped you from saying No, so you just nodded and followed him down the stairs and sat down at the table. The smell of curry-chicken reached your nose and your stomach started demanding food – the first time in a few days that you were actually eating something. You noticed how hungry you actually were.
Silence hung between you and your dad. You felt how much he was preparing himself for saying something, but instead of interrupting his thoughts and making him even more puzzled, you waited. He would find his courage eventually.
And he did so. After a few moments of nothing but the sound of teeth and food meeting, he cleared his throat and put down his chopsticks.
“(Y/N)… I talked with Joonmyeon today. About… about you.”
A cold fist gripped your stomach and suddenly you felt nauseous. Every thought of eating made you feel sick. Joonmyeon was such a close friend of your dad and somehow of you too. You felt betrayed by your dad, because you knew exactly what they had talked about.
“He suggested that we both go to a doctor. A professional, who knows what you’re going through. Who knows that better than me and Mom do. What do you say?”
You were numb. No thought crossed your brain as you just nodded, because – what else should you do? Say No? After all the pain you had given him? Never. You had to accept your fate.
Turned out that just nodding had been a good idea.
It was six months later and you were diagnosed with depression and suicidal thoughts. For the past months you had been in therapy, and you still were. And it worked. You had never told anyone why you were dealing with all this freaked out stuff and that was okay. Nobody put you under pressure. Therapy was hard, yes, but somehow it was the good type of difficult.
Tonight was the first “dad-daughter-evening” you and your father had scheduled. Those evenings were suggested by your therapists and should be an opportunity to spend more time together. Sadly, your mother still wasn’t here.
You looked over to your dad. He sat next to you on the couch, sharing a blanket, each of you with a cup of hot chocolate and you watched the ending credits of Tangled together.
It got silent in the room.
“So…”, your dad cleared his throat and turned off the TV. “What do you want to do now?” he asked and turned around you.
In his eyes gleamed the same dim light as it did six months ago, and that was what made the decision easier. “I have to tell you something, Dad.”
And suddenly everything sputtered out of your mouth. From the day a year ago where some family member of yours started touching you, to the day where he raped you. While you told him everything you told yourself to focus on your Dad’s face and not on the feeling of that creep’s hands on your body.
At the end, you were in tears. Salty drops ran down your cheeks and you weren’t able to decide if they were happy or sad tears. On the one hand you were so glad that you finally found the courage to tell your Dad, the one who always supported you even in the darkest of times, all the bad things that lead to where you were now. On the other hand though… You could feel his hand all over your body again and his lips on yours and the pain was back and it was like you were in the broom closet again.
As soon as your throat hurt and your words died out, you got so endlessly tired. You leaned your head against your Dad’s broad shoulders and wiped the tears away.
He didn’t say “Why did you never tell me”, which would have been bad because it had sounded like an accusation. He didn’t say “I’m sorry”, which would have been even worse because it sounded like you were powerless. He didn’t say anything at all. He kept quiet, pulled you towards his chest and pressed his lips on your hair.
The last thing you felt was his fingers stroking your back and him mumbling a song. You recognized this song, even though you had heard it the last time when you were four. It was the song he had always sang to you when you were supposed to sleep but were way too worked up in anything.
