so ive been thinking about this line and as others have pointed out its very odd because it refers to the three of them, not just kris. and after watching a video talking about susie and ralsei’s relationship im starting to think this line has a different meaning for each character.

kris is a literal puppet, but susie and ralsei are different. from what we’ve seen so far, susie has a lot of expectation on her regarding her aggression and everyone automatically assumes that she’s evil/a bully. this expectation has a hold on her and she tries to follow by it even if it’s not true at heart.

ralsei is very clearly controlled by the prophecy and influenced by it, to the point where he berates others for not following it as well as he is/wants them to be. he also seems to have a low self esteem/lack of respect or individuality, so i think that fits there too.

i’m not sure if there’s anything deeper going on with spamton’s lie but i don’t think i’ve seen anyone else bring up these things so…

Smash really does that for you. I hate the plot a lot and probably some of the characters too, but that didn’t stop me from me rewatching it like 5 times. It’s probably the little details I see that make it great for me (the actors and songs too, god I love them). So basically, I love the show so much but I also hate it too. The journey you will experience will be very fun and by the end of it I guess you will be actually grateful you watched a show like this.
