Let's do another road trip, k? 👯
(Dunedin, April 2014)
A Victorian train station.
Actual building is larger than it appears.
(Queenstown, April 2014)
Bridget and I hiked to the top of Te Tapo-nui, the mountain that overlooks Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu.
(Sydney, April 2014)
This path runs between Coogee and Bondi beach along 8 other beaches. You can walk the entire thing in around 2 hours, and the walk winds along the bluffs and through the beaches themselves.
Highly recommended if you're visiting Sydney.
(Salamanca, Fall 2011)
Spanish food is fantastic. Tapas allow you to try many things, which I took advantage of. I went to Churrasco, the tapas bar around the corner of my house, whenever I got a craving for...
Chorizo con sidra: Spanish sausage cooked with cider. And as much bread as you want!
(10/21/11)
The view from the Notre Dame.
(Madrid, 12/16/11)
Every city I visited around Christmas season had these beautiful lights draped over their streets. This particular one seemed like something out of a fairy tale. Or those fireworks that trail gold through the sky.
(Jupiter, 04/20/11)
I'll be back in Florida in a week, and it can't come soon enough. Though it's not as exotic as Europe, sunsets are always pretty :)
(Interlaken, 08/16/11)
Interlaken has become famous in Switzerland for its potential adrenaline kicks. Dozens of daring souls leapt of the side of the mountain every day to get an unparalleled view of the alps from above.
I was not one of those daring souls, but I will try paragliding next time.
Message me if you want this as a desktop background. It's currently mine.
(Ganoga Lake, 05/29/11)
Spring fern buds overlooking the water.
(Jungfrau, 08/18/11)
A man with and his dog resting on the side of Eiger. This train station was surrounded only by hiking trails and a small cafe for the hikers to stop for food.
(Burlington, 02/12/12)
My friend Jenny's apartment has a beautiful view of Lake Champlain. In the winter, the sun sets perfectly across the lake.
It was so cold that night (around 3 degrees), I had to run out on the balcony, take this picture as quickly as possible, and sprint back inside to warm up.
(Venezia, 08/21/11)
(Burlington, 02/12/12)
There were so many churches per square mile that I'm not sure which this was. How stereotypically Vermont. All that you have heard is true.
(Salamanca, 10/27/11)
Used book fair in the Plaza Mayor.
(Cinque Terre, 08/28/11)
Via dell'Amore
or Lover's Lane.
(10/15/11, San Sebastián)
Sunset in the land of delicious tapas, unabashed sunbather nudity, and unmatched scenery.
