"It’s a 100 foot drop."
"It’s 200."
+6 people dreaming
There was a deep exhale, snowy cheeks puffing out and lips forming a small pout. “You know if you wanted a closer look at my nose all you had to do was ask…”
“—What?” Confusion clouds over a once blank expression, realization soon to follow. When Kristoff turned his head to look at Sven, his mouth was awfully large for a reindeer, and he shook his head with a laugh. “Spit it out, Sven--” And he did. Pressing the carrot nose back through Olaf, he rubbed the back of his hat awkwardly. “Sorry about that, Olaf.”
[ She turns at the sound of a gruff voice— and, in kind, responds with a polite nod of her own. Bright as the sun against her skin, a smile tugs at the edges of coral lips. ]
“Good morning to you, ice master. I trust you’re enjoying your new sleigh?”
[ If you were to say that Kristoff isn't as awkward as Anna, it's a lie. He can be just as nervous as her, and it shows during his words. ]
“Yes, oh it's wonderful. Terrific, even. Sven loves his badge.”
[ Today was her day. The notion not something she’s sure of but likes it, of course she does, Anna’s never really had her day before. Her birthday that was supposedly hers but was normally filled with formalities and polite smiles, acting as a Princess should however it meant the day that was suppose to be hers wasn’t actually hers. Today was though. Today wasn’t her birthday, she had no where else to be, no formalities or people to talk to, it would just be her and Kristoff and that sounded pretty close to perfect as it can get. He wanted to see all the rooms and so a tour was what she would give, though they’d skip a few rooms they weren’t allowed in and hopefully avoid bothering the staff and Elsa. Silently, she made a little mental note to show him the gardens she loved so much and hopefully he would like them all the same. ] [ A tiny gasp comes from her at the press of the other’s lips against her own, it wasn’t expected but wholly welcomed and her small hand came up to instinctively press against his neck lightly. She smiled up at him when he pulls away, sometimes he was as awkward as herself and she would be lying if she said she didn’t love that fact. It made her feel a little less alone. Dainty fingers brush gently over Kristoff’s flushed cheeks, feeling the heat that pooled there before tip toeing up to press her own quick peck to his lips. ]
”I’ll give you the whole tour. I’m a very good tour guide, you’ll see.” [ Her cool fingers sooth over his cheeks one last time before she dips back down to her usual height with a blush covering her own, the whole premise of kissing seemed odd to Anna. It was… Weird but she liked kissing Kristoff, she actually liked it a lot. It made her feel loved and she hoped that it did the same for the man. Her hand wraps around one of his larger ones and she swings the limbs between them slowly, a stupidly wide smile colouring her expression. ] “Not all the rooms because Elsa— Most though. The balconies and the garden too!”
[ The Princess lets out another small giggle, turning in the direction of the castle before looking over her shoulder at the blonde with a playful smile, giving their intertwined hands a little tug for him to follow with her. Anna took a deep breath trying to hold in her excitement at least for a while longer, once they were in castle grounds they could run about and play but not before— Well they could but she would probably trip into someone or cause a scene. ] ”Coming then?”
[ Today was all about Anna, and Kristoff could live with that. He wanted her to be happy, and if that meant being taken around the entire of the castle, then so be it. He'd always wanted to see the inside, and he wondered if there would be ice sculptures on the inside, like the palace had once been. He wonders if there are a thousand rooms, each with something new and exciting behind the doors. He also wonders if they have more than one kitchen, he also wonders what the palace will be like on a whole, and he'll soon find out, as Anna will be his tour guide. ]
[ He nods with a slight laugh and a smile alongside it. She'll show him every room, which means he'll be exhausted by the end, but it would be worth it. The castle was massive on the outside, and lord knows what it was like on the inside. Maybe they could dance in the ballroom, and run around in the gardens. Lean over the balconies and look at the beautiful view of their land. Seeing as she was the princess of Arendelle, it was technically her land as well as her sisters. And that brought another query to the front of his mind, would they see Elsa? Or would she be busy out and about, doing -- queen stuff? ]
[ A nod when she asks if he's coming and he takes a few long strides before he's at her side again, and his hand timidly links in with hers, fingers twining together, his thumb rubbing softly at the back of her hand, a loving gesture he had learned throughout the years of watching other people, couples and married ones walk past him, especially when he delivered to married couples, he had noticed the affection, and at the time, he just wanted to throw up -- or something close to that notion, but now he had someone to do that with, and suddenly it wasn't as gross as he once thought. ]
"Definitely!"
[ Walking alongside her, he smiled and swung their arms back and forth, almost as if they were skipping, but they weren't -- he needed his energy to walk around the castle, he nodded though and returned her smile, his hair moving slightly to cover his eyes and he blew at it a couple of times before using his free hand to wipe it away. ] "You can show me as many rooms as you'd like to, Anna. Today is your day."
[ She can’t help but giggle happily at Kristoff’s reaction to the small kiss, her smile wide and for some reason ducked her head just a little before glancing up at him with innocent eyes and her lower lip between her teeth again. Anna’s cheeks must have been red by now, too red by the heat she felt coming off of them but she couldn’t actually care about it. Not with the man so close, not while she was undeniably so happy that her lips were seemingly always curled into a smile, never before had she smiled so much and she loved the feeling even if her cheeks sometimes ended up hurting at the end of the day.]
[ Her own loving sigh escapes her and the Princess almost feels the need to lean forward to peck at the other’s lips but refrained for now, a kiss to his cheek was enough. Everything was different now, good different though and the pain of the past was forgotten, bygones were left to be bygones because the happiness she felt overrides any negative emotion that may creep up on her. ]
“Are you free now? I mean… I hope you’re free. It’s okay if you’re not though. Totally okay.”
[ Anna leans back but did not pull her hands away, they were warm and nice under the heat of the other’s. She looks behind her then to the side before motioning with her nose to the castle, Kristoff hasn’t seen the inside of it yet and the Princess was all too up to the task of a guided tour. ]
”Let me show you the castle— If you want to that is. Elsa’s busy and I-I thought it’d be nice. But if you’re busy… It’s okay. We’ll do it another time.”
[ The strawberry blonde bounces on the spot excitedly, it’d be fun to show him the rooms that she could show him and Elsa— Well she wouldn’t mind at all… She hoped but all Anna wanted was to share something of hers since the other had pretty much shown her everything already. The fact making her smile widely again, the excitement bubble building childishly. ]
[ Sporting the same smile as Anna giggles, he releases another happy sigh. She's everything he really needs in his life, and he's already decided that. If another girl were to come along -- he wouldn't show any interest. For the first and last time, he'd fallen in love, and he was going to make sure that she didn't slip through his fingers, because if she did -- he'd be lost. It was like he'd been stuck in his own eternal winter, and she was the sunshine that brought him to the real world and the happiness he now felt was because of her, because of the wonderful, beautiful princess Anna. ]
[ Upon hearing her request to show him around the castle, he squeezes her hand in response before remembering that he needs to actually form words, otherwise she wont know if he wants to or not, which causes him to smile bashfully and release a very nervous laugh. Finally remembering how to speak, he sucked in a deep breath before laughing again -- less nervous and more happy. Her nervous demeanour just made him smile all the more. She was perfect. In his eyes, anyway. ]
“Of course I'm free now. Unless someone magically calls me for ice. We can do whatever you want, today. Today is your day, Anna.”
[ The excitement she showed for just wanting to show him the castle only brought a wider smile to his lips. He loved how enthusiastic she was, but maybe it was just because of him? Or maybe the fact that nobody had been allowed in the castle for over nineteen years, and now that the gates were open, forever, Anna wanted to show off her beautiful home, and who could blame her, really? It was beautiful from the outside, and Kristoff suspected that it would be just as beautiful on the inside, kind of like Anna, really. ]
“No, no. I'm not busy. C'mon, show me the castle. Show me all the rooms.”
[ The smile never left his lips as he leaned down and returned her earlier kiss, but this time only a soft peck to her lips, his cheeks flaring up the minute his lips brushed against her warm skin. Leaning back somewhat abruptly, he coughed awkwardly and smiled. He still wasn't entirely sure of the kissing thing, but he liked it. It made him feel.. odd, to say the least. It was like a thousand fireworks were going off in his chest at once, and it wasn't painful, it was exciting. It was all new feelings, but he liked them, nonetheless. ]
[ Anna sighed in relief, hurting him was the last thing she wanted to do, it wasn’t very Princess like and she cared for Kristoff deeply. Hurting him would only make her sad but she didn’t, after a moment she let the thought escape her and concentrated on the man in front of her with a smile, teeth still playing with her bottom lip. ]
[ A little giggle escaped her at their hands intertwining. The gesture small, loving and perfect. Absolutely perfect and it only made her cheeks flush pinker. The Princess squeezed their hands lightly before standing on the very tips of her toes to press a small kiss to the man’s cheek in thanks. ]
”You really didn’t. I appreciate the thought though.”
[ She rolls her feet back down to rest properly, safely on the floor before looking up with a smile trying to judge Kristoff’s reaction to the light kiss. She felt a little silly still being this nervous around the man she loved but— There was still so much to get used to. ]
"I’ve missed you."
[ Warmth spread throughout Kristoff due to the happiness he felt at their fingers linking together. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot to Kristoff. He was mainly unsure of bodily contact, having not received much in his life, and the same went for Anna, he was sure of it. And now they were both becoming used to touching, holding hands and -- and kissing. Gosh, that was a lovely feeling. He did like kissing Anna, because she was soft and perfect and wonderful. ]
[ Being brought out of his thought process by the very thing he was thinking about, and his cheeks lit up with a soft tinted pink; and his smile widened. She was the best thing that'd happened to him in a very, very long while. Ever since he met Sven, he'd considered himself alone, with the trolls as his family -- and now, he was being welcomed into a much, much larger family. The kingdom held many people, and many of which he now talked to on a daily basis. Along with the fact that he now delivered ice to twice as many places, thanks to Anna and Elsa. ]
“I'll think of something, don't worry.”
[He now sports a bashful smile, from the kiss. Something he's still unsure of, but he enjoys it nonetheless. Hands still linked as she brings herself down safely to the floor, he smiles, and brings her other hand up, to hold them against his chest, his hands resting atop hers, cupping them lightly. Resting his forehead against hers, he let free a happy sigh. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been this happy, not for a long while. ]
“I've missed you too, Anna.”
[ That smile. The smile that she loved so much was back and she couldn’t help but reflect back her own wide smile, trying to reign herself in just a little before letting go completely and giggling nervously. A hand coming up to push a strawberry blond lock of hair back behind her ear, teeth began to bite at her lower lip while the Princess tried to think of what to say that wouldn’t come out stupidly— Again.]
”Okay. I didn’t hurt you did I?” [ A small gasp came from her lips and her eyes widening at that thought, Anna had been known to accidentally hurt people and she didn’t want to hurt Kristoff at all. Her small, dainty hand pressed at his chest where she’d hit and her innocent gaze flicked upwards with a little pout. ] “—Wait. If they stuck to the floor… How would I move?”
[ He couldn't help but smile when around Anna, and he honestly didn't mind her silliness, or the fact that she was incredibly clumsy, and prone to falling over almost every other step. But he didn't mind that, in fact -- he loved it. It was what made Anna, Anna. She was an amazing girl, and a fantastic princess. She was real, and not stuck up. And he loved her for that. He loved her, and that thought process brought another smile to his lips, wider than before. ]
“No, no, you didn't hurt me. You never do.”
[ Another laugh comes through his lips, watching as her hand came forward to rest on his chest, right where she'd fallen into him and he smiled, his hand coming up to rest atop hers, linking their fingers together in a loving manner. She really was the embodiment of adorable. ]
“Yeah -- didn't quiet think that one through, huh?”
[ Anna takes a small step backwards awkwardly, stumbling a little but managed to keep herself upright without embarrassing herself even further even though she was sure that she would do it anyway somehow. Her small hands adjusting the waist of her dress and swivelled her hips to get it back in the right place before her right hand reached up to dust off Kristoff’s shoulder. ]
“It’s okay? Okay, I can cope with okay. Okay is okay with me—” [ Eyes dart to her own feet and she shuffles nervously before clasping her hands back in front of her, silently hoping that her face wasn’t too red and quietly giggled. ] “Glued shoes? But how would I take them off?”
[ Kristoff smiles again when she dusts his shoulder, shaking his head a little at her fumbling and awkward movements. She really was the human embodiment of adorable, if that were even possible. He hoped so, because she was that. Gentle laughter seeps through his parted lips and he tilts his head to the side slightly, watching as she swivelled her hips to adjust the dress, noticing just how nice she looked today. Although, she always looked nice. ]
“Yes, it's okay. You're okay. Okay is okay with you? Good, okay is okay with me, too!”
[ Her giggle is like music to his ears, he honestly can't get enough of it. Not to mention that her smile is beautiful, it lights her entire face up, along with her eyes. A happy sigh escapes him before he laughs at his idea of glue shoes, he knows they wouldn't work -- it's just a joke, entirely. ]
“They wouldn't stick to your feet, they'd stick to the floor.”
[ At first she’s lost in thought, her mind elsewhere, concentrating on the colours of the city she’d never got to see before but she snapped back into herself when she saw Kristoff in her peripheral vision. Anna clasped her hands together and walked over to the blonde with a skip, a smile graced her lips until she tripped over an uneven piece of paving and slammed right into him with a huff, hands gripping his arms to stable herself. ]
"Oh— I’m sorry. I just and my shoe and.”
[ Her cheeks redden as the ginger retracts her hand with an embarrassed mumble and dusts herself down, composing herself before glancing up with bright blue eyes. ] “I feel better, thank you. How are you, If— If I may ask? I think I can ask?”
[ Strong arms come out the instant Kristoff realizes that she's coming forward from tripping, and he heaves a grunt when she hits his chest with some incredible force. Stumbling on his own feet for a moment, he steadies them both, big hands gripping small arms gently. Brows raise and lips pull up in a wide smile, head shaking only slightly, laughter booming slightly. ]
“Anna! Anna, it's okay.”
[ Another warm smile graces the icemakers lips, watching as she composes herself and he does the same, brushing down his jacket, smiling brightly at her. ]
“I'm well, very well. We should get you some new shoes. With glue on them, so you can't fall.”
+ordinaryoptimist.
[ A soft, loving smile falls to Kristoff's lips as he spots Anna, and gives her a short few waves, to summon her over. She was amazing and beautiful and he was lucky to have earned her trust and love. ]
“Good morning, princess, feeling better this morning?”
+dexvet.
[ Kristoff gives a curt nod in the direction of the Queen; a soft smile spread upon his features. He had become thankful toward her majesty ever since receiving his new sleigh. ]
“Good morning, Queen Elsa.”
