Leon and Hop sibling headcanons! (SWSH)
- Leon used to call Baby! Hop,Ā āBunny.ā
- Now that Hop is older, Leon uses that nickname for when the two are alone or with just family. Either for teasing or soft moments. Really depends.
- Since Lee had to basically raise his younger brother, you can be damn well sure that he is very protective of Hop.
- In fact, Hopās Wooloo was given to him by Leon when he saw Hop as a baby nearly wander into the woods. Poor guy had his heart skipped a beat as he sprinted to the little guy to grab him.
- And if Leon were around to hear what Bede said to Hop during the story,,, hoo boi, that prick would be one dead son of a bitch.
- When Lee took a trip to Kanto not to long after becoming champ, he actually talked to Professor Oak and got a Charmander egg from himā¦ The only problem was that he couldnāt get to his plane on time if he tried to hatch it, and Charmanders arenāt local to Galar, so if Leon had an egg of a Kanto pokemon on the planeā¦ Heād get in a lot of trouble.
- Cut to poor Leon explaining to his mum why he just smuggled an egg across to Galar and getting his yelled at.
- And that, kids, is why the Charizard line is apart of the Galar dex and not the rest of the Kanto starters. Because Magnolia didnāt want the poor boy to be under heavy media fire of why a non-Galar pokemon was now apart of his team.
- So Charmander used to be around Hop quite a bit and now fully evolved, has a very good sense of how kids are and how to take care of them to some degree. One of the first lessons being to watch the open flame tail at all times, because he was waaaay to close to setting a Baby! Hopās clothes on fire when he was a Charmander. Multiple times. Oops.
- Hop is a bit of a meme lord, and leaves Lee so??? Confused???Ā

- Very few people are allowed near Leonās hatsā¦ Hop is not one of them. If you think Lee gets himself lost in places, Hop gets THINGS lost all the time, even if they are in the same room as him. He can get himself places, unlike his brother, sure. But Leon has the one up in not losing important stuff and having to tear up the room to find it.Ā
- Thank god for Wooloo and eventually the rest of Hopās team of pokemon. Because I guarantee you that if it wasnāt for them keeping track of the rusted sword/shield, Hop wouldnāt have it at the main climax of the game. If it werenāt attached, this boy would lose his own damn head.Ā
- These two have one thing in common, howeverā¦ They are both terrible cooks. Seriously, weāre talking Koffing class curries here. If you think some of the main ingredients for curries were weird (I.E Whipped Cream, Apples, Pasta, etc) wait till you see what these boys try to throw in, especially the random assortment of berries. The curry will either be burnt, way too cold, or have been spilled everywhere.Ā
- These boys tease each other, they can be disasters on their own, but they mean so well for each other. Thatās just the way family is, right?
