I don't want to live a life in this world that I must remember, because, aside from my maternal grandmother going insane and dying in the hospital, I can tell how her delusions worked. It's made me very areligious. It's made me agnostic at best. I think of her, my grandmother, a lot, whenever I think about "heaven" and the "afterlife…," which she was so passionate about because I know she would understand Haibane Renmei, even if at a mundane level. I think she'd have gotten the message by episode 6. And by the end? She'd be sobbing with me…I have no grandparents anymore, and idk how long I can last here…and I wish I could believe my grandmother back into existence for a short time, just to try showing her how much she's inspired me to write, to meditate, and to help others…

Been reading Bethany Pierce's book Feeling for Bones, and am wondering why I hadn't read it sooner bc it was published in 2007. Really inspiring, and it makes me wanna write my own Ed memoir. :)

Once you’re finished sit there in your comfortable fullness. Do not go to the pantry and mindlessly snack. Do not get up and exercise. Do not purge.
In a few hours eat again. A full meal. Whatever sounds good to you. Don’t overthink before, during, or after your food.
Oh and don’t feel guilty. Be comfortable. Don’t have your mind linger on food, whether the guilt or the need for more because you’ve ‘already failed’.
Repeat. Every single day. Three or more times a day. For the rest of your life.
Sound scary? Yeah, that’s because you have an ed. You don’t have to label it. You don’t have to squish it into a specific diagnosis. But don’t invalidate yourself.
