Happy Pride Month

for anyone who’s seeing me show up on their newsfeed after years of inactivity: HI!

I have a confession to make: I am queer.  It’s not a super huge secret or anything. You might already know that. Most anyone who has had some personal conversation with me knows I am probably about 20% gay and 20% gender queer, but now I’ve put it out on my blog so it will be forever now!

I’ve been recently thinking about how I present as a straight woman because I am ~80% straight and ~80% woman, and how I’m trying to buck that view, which also kind of difficult seeing as I’m dating a cis het guy  who I also want to remain attractive to. He’s been pretty supportive of me playing with a more masculine haircut and at least listened to my talk about missing the time in my life when I was easily taken for a guy when I had super short hair and dressed in my ex’s clothes all the time.
