Nancy Drew Characters and Pokemon Go

Nancy: Hits every pokestop in the world(literally) yet still forgets to actually catch pokemon or leave the app open to hatch eggs.

George: Owns every gyms in River Heights, hatches eggs like their no tomorrow.

Bess: Only catches the pokemon she thinks are cute, has ten million weedles, pidgeys, and rattatas because no one wants them and she feels bad. Drives slow to hatch eggs.

Ned: Is like level 100 cause theres a million pokestops on campus and even more pokemon. Post pictures of all his pokemon because he's proud of them

Joe: Tried the ceiling fan trick and regretted it, nearly crashed the car because their was a pikachu.

Frank: Caught them all, literally all of them, no cheating but probably done in a very nerdy and strategic way. Also had to bring Joe to the hospital after the ceiling fan incident.

A STATUS UPDATE

Hey I know its been awhile since I’ve been active on this blog. My life has been just complicated for the last two years and I wasn't always in a stable enough place emotionally or physically to update with new content. Now I am but I’m working 40+ hours a week. I do want to make new content but I wont always be able to and I can’t promise you that I will. I just feel that I owe you guys some explanation. I will be keeping the blogs up and I will keep them because I do still have hope for them. Thank you everyone that stayed with me and continues to follow me.

nancythedrew asked us to post the responses to our positive and negative emails about the LGBT+ representation in one of game. (Mine was positive.) Just to clarify,  A project post-mortem is a process, usually performed at the conclusion of a project, to determine and analyze elements of the project that were successful or unsuccessful. Project post-mortems are intended to inform process improvements which mitigate future risks and to promote iterative best practices. Post-mortems are often considered a key component of, and ongoing precursor to, effective risk management.

Oh wow, looks like they’re really looking at how fans respond to the LGBT character and may not continue having representation in future games if too many fans are upset about it/possibly stop buying games because of it (aka their massive conservative Christian fanbase). I’ll def be sending an email letting them know I appreciated the LGBT character and would encourage everyone to do the same! As I’ve seen other people saying, I definitely think it’s important to have the positive voices outweigh the negative ones and to let Her know we support them on this.

The righteously indignant crowd will try their best to shout down HER from ever having more diversity by threatening to stop buying the games. I for one am going to do my damnedest make sure that doesn’t happen, by being very vocal in letting HER know what a fantastic step this is and that it only makes me want to support them more.
