Peter nods and smiled, “I hope I get to meet them soon! I’ve been taken notes on the difference between the three universes.” He looked over at Smile, his robot, who was cleaning up for him. He was moving around Peter’s webbing cans. “Be careful with those, Smile” The robot made a pleased beeping noise and made a nodding movement.
He turned back to Wally as he made his joke and took the drink from him. He laughed, “Dude, it’s chill, Karen wouldn’t take over the world. Her hands are full with taking care of me. Also I’m the youngest at my job so i’m used to the teasing.”
He didn’t want to mention Karen will self destruct, coding wise if she got so many as a virus in her system because of Tony’s old AI. He also didn’t want to even mention what happened with JARVIS and the creation of Vision.
“Oh, really? Found anything interesting?”
His eyes followed the little robot, fascinated. He preferred slightly easier mechanics and engineering, just car engines were good enough for him, but the workings of robots did always fascinate him.
He laughed at Peter’s comment. “That’s a really smart strategy. You need another robot to distract for total world domination, send them to me, promise they’ll never have time again.”
He gave Peter another grin. “Yeah? You’re taking it more gracefully than I did. I used to be one of the youngest at my… job – took over for someone else – and I used to absolutely hate it. Everyone treating me like a kid. So, yeah, call me out if I do it.”
Peter jumped up and went to get his new notebook that he got with the little cash he was given. He bounced back over and sat down, “Most of my notes are based off Natasha, Clint, Wanda & Damian since those are the ones I do know more personally so far.” He showed his doodle of Damian, who was also drawing in another notebook with little facts written about him like his family members here, members back home and other things Damian told him.
He noticed Wally watching Smile and looked back at his bot, who had finished up and moved to his charging station, which were leftovers of a roomba charging station and some old laptop cord he founded.
He sat his notebook down and grabbed his drink to take a sip, “Watch out, I may take you up on that, my dude. Get ya your own AI or something.” He let out a small laugh, “I mean, I used to get bullied.. teasing and jokes from people I know actually care about me are better than that, right?”
i don’t wanna jump to conclusions but i think spider-man needs friends
hes ending arachnophobia on the daily
Peter was sitting on the roof of the housing building. He had Karen beside him as he tinkered on a new bot. ‘Smile’, his first bot of this world, was spinning around, enjoying his time in the sun even though he doesn’t feel the heat of the sun. He had left the roof door open in case it locked behind him. He didn’t want to have to scale the side of the building to get back down. He looked out over parking lot that only had the cars given to the older residents with licenses. That excludes him because he never got his license since Happy drove him around more of the time and he’s been too busy with school and his internship.
He had his new noise canceling headphones on that an agent had given to him when he asked for them when they asked for his clothing size and preferences for his closet. They weren’t Stark noise canceling headphones, but they did work pretty well. With his hearing he could still hear over the music he was listening to, but it didn’t bother him as much since he was in an unfamiliar universe with people he doesn’t know yet. He had all his more “normal” gadgets out, instead of his spider gadgets. He couldn’t say working on fully functioning robots is a normal feat for an eighteen year old, but it was definitely more normal compared to his web shooters and his two suits from Tony.
He bobbed his head softly along with his playlist made by MJ and Bruce for his migraines that were created by noises around him. He reached for his bag to pull out his laptop to start his coding for the bot that will become fully functional once the coding is programmed into their system. He was having a pleasant conversation with Karen, who was synced to all his technology to be able to communicate with Peter incase of an emergency. Her little lights used to be the dark blue over the Alexa before he changed them out for a icy blue color instead like Stark’s tech and the Arc Reactor.

Peter took a deep breath that shook at the end and rubbed his hands over his face. He let her words sink in again and removed his hands from his face, “What happens when they find out about my…” He threaded off and picked up a fork without grabbing it by tapping his finger on it, showing her he meant his abilities. He sat the fork back down immediately and hidden his hands from public eye, staring at her. He knew he could outrun anyone with more human abilities, but the idea of living on the run from a unknown form of government similar to his own scared him.
He bit his lip and thought of back home. He wondered if Aunt May was okay, if she was gonna be okay without him for however long he’ll be stuck here. He looked Natasha in the eye and saw a bit of the same familiar warm he has seen in his Aunt’s eyes in Natasha’s. Side of his lip twitched up slightly and he looked back down at his bag in his lap. It gave him peace of mind knowing he had Natasha and Clint with him during this.
“For now, we’re keeping things… quiet.” Even though she knew Peter was being surreptitious, Nat couldn’t help but glance around casually to assure herself that no one had spotted the action. “Others are being less discreet, and it’s already fairly known, or at least suspected about our world and its heroes. But we don’t need them any more wary of us because they realize certain members of us have… advantages they don’t.” She couldn’t control everyone that had slipped over into this strange universe, but she could do her best to protect those close to her.
“I’m planning on establishing some sort of home base for those of us here, a mini Avengers base, if you will- would you like to help?” Giving him something to do might take his mind off of things, and she really had been considering that, but it had been caught up among Clint returning and her plot to perhaps-maybe try breaking into the Pentagon to see what she could learn. And spending more time with him in process of making a base would let her keep an eye on him. “We need a place to convene outside of the assigned housing and such.”
He nodded and bits his lip, looking at her closely. “So just say hypothetically I let someone from the other group in on that secret...” He started nervously fiddling with his bag as he spoke, “would you be mad at me?” He gave her the same puppy dog eyes and innocent, but nervous grin he gave Tony, Aunt May or any other adult that may get upset with him. He knew it was too late to take back telling Damian about his abilities, but it wasn’t his fault.. the dude gave him the same vibes as Nat and Buck and he had thought it was one of them. He didn’t know the other universe had assassins as well!
When she mentioned the “mini Avengers base” he got excited, “Of course, I’d be willing to help!” He smiles brightly at her, “It sounds like a brilliant idea. I salvaged a new form for Karen so maybe we can use her like Friday and get some AI help on the situation.” He pulled out the old Alexa from his bag that was put on sleep so Karen couldn’t talk out loud. He didn’t turn her on but gave her a small pat and smiled, “Also if we have a base, it may give me more space to work on new tech to maybe help us out. I’m not as good as the older guys, but I will try. Plus I luckily had Tony’s upgrades and my old suits in my bag when I came through” By “upgrade”, he meant the new Spider-Man suits. He left Karen out and continued to hug his bag to his chest.

He took a moment to let everything set in. “How many people are there? How are we gonna help the others get home?” He worded things differently because he didn’t want someone to overhear them. He looked down at his hands on the table. “if only Reed and Tony could be in a room for five minutes without having a ‘Who’s smarter?’ competition…”
He let out a deep sigh in defeat. “Lets hope Ms Sue and Ms Potts can keep them in shape for long enough.” Yesterday was supposed to be the announcement of Spiderman becoming an Avenger or well under Avenger’s watch. Spidey was little late to that, he thought to himself. “It feels weird, knowing that everyone back home is probably freaking out and that we’re sitting in a cafe probably five miles from where the old Stark Tower is suppose to be.” He looked up at her as he finished what he was saying.
“Of personal friends of ours? Besides you and me, only a small handful so far.” He may not actually know or consider them friends (she could hardly call Emma a friend herself), but those were the people she knew for certain were here and considered relevant, and she was sure he’d get the gist. “Of others? Enough to be noticeable, and causing some complications for the government here. So far… right now, the focus is to gather information and keep calm.” While she had many skills, they weren’t in the same realm as those she thought could actually solve something like this. With a quiet and abrupt snort of laughter, she nodded, and flipped some of her dark hair back from her face. “I wish them luck. Those two aren’t easy to wrangle.”
She watched him carefully, trying to assess just how much he was internally freaking out and if he would be able to handle himself. He probably could, but some protective instinct on account of him being so young wanted her to be positive. “Freaking out, yes, but at least aware of a problem. We’ve dealt with strange things before. This may be an entirely new universe of strange, but we’re adaptable.”
Peter took a deep breath that shook at the end and rubbed his hands over his face. He let her words sink in again and removed his hands from his face, “What happens when they find out about my...” He threaded off and picked up a fork without grabbing it by tapping his finger on it, showing her he meant his abilities. Peter smiles at Wally, “Thanks dude, I hope you get back to your family as well!” He continued to eat on his pizza and got another slice as he listened to Wally. The dude seemed pretty chill and very friendly. He may miss his family back home, but he’s definitely glad he had the chance to meet people from the other universe.
He let out an amused huff at Wally agreeing with him, “Definitely, I need more friends that aren’t robots.”
When Wally showed no shocking reaction to Karen, Peter was surprisingly not shocked since they were both from different universes stuck in another. “Karen’s babysitting protocol has been turned off since I turned 16, excuse you.” Karen cut him off, “I do not have control over Smile or any of Peter’s other creations while in this form so rest a sure I cannot “sic” any robots on you and Peter has no “bed time”, just to be home by 2 a.m.” The last bit was rules set by May for him to keep being Spiderman.
“Me too. Some of them are here though, so that helps,” Wally said with a small smile, thinking of his coffee date with Megan, running into Zatanna on one of her shows, even dusting off the debris of Clark’s cape. He was all right, his family was right here.
Wally laughed and then whispered like a secret. “Don’t say that in front of them, they’ll take over the world.” He grinned, as if somehow his AI would be able to tell that was a joke. Could she? Maybe. Wally survived by pretending this stuff wasn’t as messed up as it was.
He held his hands up in jovial surrender, grinning. “My bad, my bad.” He decided to gracefully not comment on that babysitting protocol thing. He opened a can of soda to hand to Peter, with a mock serious look. “I offer you this soda as a peace offering.”
Peter nods and smiled, “I hope I get to meet them soon! I’ve been taken notes on the difference between the three universes.” He looked over at Smile, his robot, who was cleaning up for him. Peter chuckled at Wally and let him have a better look at his watch as he took the pizza, “Yeah, that’s Aunt May. On the other side is my boss, Tony. Behind us are my best friends from school and Tony’s fiancee. This was from a few months ago when I turned 18.”
Peter put his watch away and laughed at Wally’s dramatic acting. “Maybe he likes me better.” He was only teasing. He didn’t know the relation between Wally and Damian, though he didn’t think Wally was one of Damian’s adoptive siblings.
As he took bite of his pizza, a familiar calming voice spoke up, “Peter, it is 11:45. It is time to drink water. Your aunt and Ms Pott would not be happy with me if I didn’t remind you as scheduled.” Peter looked over at Karen as his newly fixed spider bot carried his water bottle over to him. Peter grabbed it and smiled over at Wally, “Sorry if the voice spooked ya. That’s Karen. my AI.”

Wally took a better look at the picture as Peter angled it towards him. It was funny, how almost all these type of pictures looked so familiar. It reminded him of home, of the pictures he had with his family. Not the family he was born with, but the family he chose. The family he fought for. Judging from how Peter described the people in the picture, it was probably similar.
“They look nice. Happy. Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll be able to go back to them soon,” he said.
He took care to eat his pizza slowly. Even though this kid didn’t seem that usual, what with all the robots around and all, it was still probably best not to instantly freak him out by speed-eating his way through an entire pizza. Apparently that was… disturbing. (Lame.)
He laughed brightly at Peter’s comment. “You know? That’s probably not inaccurate. Damian’s not my biggest fan.” He shrugged to show that he took no real offense to Damian’s opinion of him. “But I’m glad you and him got along okay.” He gave Peter another bright smile. “We could all use some friends in these weird ass dimension hopping times, right?”
It was probably another sign of how weird Wally’s life had become that when a mysterious voice piped up he didn’t even startle, and when said voice seemed to belong to a phone and was linked to a robot, he didn’t even do a double take. He tried his best to suppress the smile at this kid being babied by a freaking robot.
“Hi, Karen”, Wally said with a small wave.
Yeah. Life was weird.
“Nah, you’re good. Good she’s taking care of you.” He grinned, teasing just for the fun of it. “She’s not going to sic these robots on me if I keep you up past your bed time, right?”

Selina sat on a rooftop, one leg cross over the other and her feet hanging over the edge. Her new suit was finally finished. Something very close to the one that she had in her own reality. She flexed her fingers in just the right way and her claws came out, then retracted again. It felt good to be herself again. To be i her own skin. Selina was well known for her ability to adapt. But with the suit on, it finally felt like normal. For all they knew, there was no way back. So she was prepared to make this reality feel like home. And from her perch, she had the distinct pleasure of seeing two men (clearly amateurs) trying to break into a diamond shop. Selina rolled her eyes. It wasn’t even a high end place. Where was the fun in that? “Is this all this reality has for me to play with?”
Peter was jumping from building to building parkour style in his everyday civilian clothing with his suit in his bag. He was getting bored of sitting around in the apartments so he went out on the roof to do some... exercising. He jumped up onto another roof to find a lady in all black much like Natasha’s Black Widow suit, but she had a hood over her hair that looked similar to a cat.
He looked around to see if anyone else was here before walking in her direction, but kept a distance, since he didn’t know who she was. He noticed the claws her suit had and thought of T’Challa’s suit for the Black Panther. He made sure there was a large distance between him as he walked over to the ledge to see what she was looking down at.
Once he noticed the robbers, he looked over at her, “So, Miss Cat Lady, are you gonna just sit here and watch or stop them?”
Peter chuckled at Wally and let him have a better look at his watch as he took the pizza, “Yeah, that’s Aunt May. On the other side is my boss, Tony. Behind us are my best friends from school and Tony’s fiancee. This was from a few months ago when I turned 18.”

justpeterparker:
Peter looked back at Natasha, nervous and slightly freaking out to see someone he knew. He let her led him into a cafe and sat down, clutching the bag he’s had since he came into this world. “Miss Ro- uh, Natasha, what is going on? I tried calling Mr Stark, Aunt May and even my best friend from school and strangers picked up instead.. What is going on and why is it only us?” He kept his hood on despite moving it back so she could see his face better.
He looked around the cafe, nervously because he didn’t like the feeling of not knowing New York anymore, the state he was born and raised in and also didn’t enjoy how lonely it has been without people from his universe. He had nothing against those who he has met so far that are in the same situation from another world, but the nagging feeling in his stomach lessen when Nat said his name and touched his shoulder.
“People from our universe, and another, have been… spontaneously disappearing and reappearing here. They don’t have heroes here, or any of us. The history of this earth is largely the same, only without us. No heroes, no powers, no mutants.” She kept her voice low and calm, trusting he could hear her as she made steady eye contact. “It’s been happening for months, and showing no sign of stopping.” After a moment of pressing her lips together, she continued. “Now, I’d be surprised if Tony, Bruce and Reed Richards aren’t already working on it.”
It was true, and Natasha didn’t do false comforts for nothing. It was less of a comfort and more a surety, something she knew must certainly be happening, whether or not it lead to anything soon. Her disappearance was one thing, she did that all the time, even if not necessarily in the middle of the mission, but Wanda, Clint, and, especially Peter? They had to have known something malicious was happening.
He took a moment to let everything set in. “How many people are there? How are we gonna help the others get home?” He worded things differently because he didn’t want someone to overhear them. He looked down at his hands on the table. “if only Reed and Tony could be in a room for five minutes without having a ‘Who’s smarter?’ competition...”

Peter was surprised to see anyone but the grumpy dude, who had found him and brought him here, come to visit his room, “Uh, Oh yeah! Come on in.” He told Wally as he stepped back to let him in. “Umm, Did you invite friends or?” Peter asked as he noticed how many pizza boxes Wally had with him. Peter knew he could eat two pizzas himself, but this dude shouldn’t know that already.
Once his new visitor was inside, he shut the door. “Sorry the place is a bit of a wreck. My, uh, robots or aunt usually clean up my mess.” He had a bunch of junk from dumpsters that are either airing out or being taken apart sitting everywhere. He already put a back up clip of Karen from his suit into a old Amazon Alexa he found so he had his AI friend with him at least.
He cleaned off the coffee table that had books on coding and other research all over it as well as Karen’s new vessel. “Here we go. Again, sorry for the mess. I wasn’t expecting anyone here beside, eh, Damian.”
“Hm?” Wally glanced at the pizza boxes he was holding, almost confused. “Ah, oh no. I, uh, didn’t know which one you liked, so I went all out. You’re a growing boy, right, you should eat well.”
Wally smiled reassuringly as the kid apologized. “Eh, you should see my place. Robots, huh? That’s cool. Build them yourself?” His expression softens a little when the kid mentioned an aunt. Man, he missed Iris. He tried to keep the amusement off his face as he took in the place. The kid was the definition of a scatterbrained scientist in the making. Junk picked apart, laying around, books on coding, casual mentions of robots taking care of him – straight from a comic book. Awesome.
“Damian?” he laughed, gesturing. “About this tall? Filled only with sarcasm and a burning hatred for literally everything? Yikes. I’m sorry, that must’ve been rough. Don’t worry, he’s a … good guy. Somewhere. Deep. Deep. down.”
Peter smiled and sat down, “I’m from New York so any pizza from home is good pizza.” He knew of the pizza place Wally ordered from, it was one of May’s favorites. He was glad somethings didn’t change.
He looked over at Karen and his suits, “Some of it I’ve created myself, other things I had to save from my bag that came with me. Those were made by my boss..” His smile tightened as he remembered Tony and Pepper back home. He tapped his watch and looked at the picture of him between Tony and May with Michelle, Ned & Pepper behind him at his 18th birthday. Everyone was laughing at Happy, who wasn’t happy to be the camera man.
He looked up when Wally started describing Damian and laughed a little, “Oh yeah, him! He was chill. He seemed to be a cool dude. He told me about his animals back home and listened to me talk about having to fix up my technology to work in this world.”
@justpeterparker
damian flips out of the path of the oncoming bullets, spins and ducks to deliver a sweeping kick to the knee that drops one of the assailants, his body hitting the ground while his gun fires aimlessly into the air for a split second, the bag of cash flung away haphazardly. he’s one of a group of six assholes out on the streets tonight, fleeing the scene of a robbery that’s left two people dead and four in critical condition, and damian is already furious enough to cut them all in half over it, the blaze in his bloodstream, the thunder in his eyes, his fists like stones as he swings around and punches the idiot hard enough to send him into next week.
there’s five others in the alleyway with him, but he’s not alone tonight, although batman is nowhere to be found– it’s just bright, bold colors mixing with the grime of the lane this time, of himself and a hero called spiderman, whom damian will never admit out loud is pretty adequate for his age. annoying and silly and uppity, but adequate. “webhead!” he points towards two of the thieves attempting to flee, hoping the other vigilante will take the hint; damian doesn’t have steel-infused webbing. or whatever it is. “the show’s just started, can’t let our guests leave just yet.”
peter shot two sticky webs out at the two runaways, yanking back on his webs to pull them back in the alleyway. he then shot net like web at them, which stuck them together. “hope you two enjoy each other’s company, you’re gonna be like this until the cops get here.” he told them as he dropped down beside them and shooting the same sticky web from before at another bad dude trying to attack robin from behind. “behind you, rob”
his web hits the attacker’s ankle and then pete pulled the web, causing him to fall onto his back. once he noticed all the thieves with guns were down, he let go of a bit of tension, but stayed on alert, like he always was around guns. he webbed down the hand with the gun in it and dodged another dude that grabbed something to try and hit peter over the head with. peter didn’t do hand on hand compact much at all since he had super strength that could hurt an average person so he continue to dodge and hit the guy with webs when he could.
damian ducks out of the way of the web flying over his head towards the bad guy, although he does use the momentum to jump and hurl himself through the air towards the others, a tuck-and-roll move that would land him on top of one man’s shoulders so he could lean backwards and bring him down with him, the robber’s head hitting hard against the cement with a satisfying crack. no breakage but probably a concussion and honestly it’s easier than he deserves. the last guy damian has to deal with isn’t as stupid as his counterparts, but his hand-to-hand combat is nothing by comparison to the boy wonder, son of two great houses that pride themselves on their fighting techniques.
damian drops him unconscious in no time at all, whirls around to find the rest of the robbers all tressed up and webbed and it’s only slightly gross even though damian has no particular fear of spiders– something about it reminding him of a story he once heard about giant web-spinning monsters. still though, at least the job was well done and taken care of. “not bad. we should tie them up and bring them to the precinct discreetly, to let the cops finish the job, before–”
“NYPD, DON’T MOVE!” damian turns towards the wall of officers with their gun out, shining black in the alleyway streetlights, descending in on them, and he can tell just from their countenance; they are just as much interested in arresting robin and spiderman as they are in these robbers.
peter turned to the police officers, who were walling off their way out, or well damian’s way out. he sighed and took a guess that the police here where just like the police back in his home universe version of queens. “now, now, is it really safe to point guns at two teens?” he stood upside down on the fire escape, which seem to stun those pointing guns. he smiled, even though they couldn’t see it, but his suit’s eyes squint slightly in a fond way, like he enjoyed amazing people with his abilities.
he was nervous about having a gun pointed at him himself, but multiple pointed at him and his friend had him on edge. not even his police back home pointed guns randomly like this.
he jumped down and spoke quietly to damian, “think you can get yourself out of here or do you need spidey help?” he already lifted his hands up like he was surrendering to them, but they both know he was just trying to get his hands in the air to shoot a web to get himself out. he has mentioned this way out to damian before. he knew it was be a bit of a stretch to grab damian and get out as quickly as he normally does, but he’s willing to gamble, if it means not having to explain to damian’s family why damian is in jail and also helping his friend out.
.not the places, but the people | @justpeterparker
Wally had more or less taken it on himself to welcome all the new arrivals. He knocked on the door of the apartment where the newest such arrivals and tried to wait patiently for it to open. He’d brought four boxes of pizza and drinks – not beer for once, because he’d heard the new arrival was barely a kid, so. He’d have to be a good role model.
He smiled brightly when the door finally opened, and indeed, a young face stared up at him.
“Hi! You’re Peter Parker, right? I’m Wally, I’m from upstairs. I heard you just arrived so I just wanted to say hello. I brought pizza,” he smiled. He knew the process of falling through dimensions was pretty rough on most people, and he also knew that sometimes the best way to combat how weird life could be was to do something defiantly normal. “Can I come in?”
Peter was surprised to see anyone but the grumpy dude, who had found him and brought him here, come to visit his room, “Uh, Oh yeah!
