Just found out that Pharah’s VA also voices Darth Zash from Star Wars: The Old Republic, so now I can’t help but imagine Pharah as anything but a massive Star Wars nerd, with Rey as her fav character obviously.

• Fareeha’s desperately searching for someone who can duet A Boy Like That/I Have a Love with her. Unfortunately, nobody on base seems to have the range for it, not even D.va. (Unbeknownst to her, Lúcio does- but he’s never heard of the musical. Rip.) • She has a secret love for Meant to be Yours - even though JD is her least favourite character. • Speaking of Heathers, she detests Candy Store. It’s too petty for her to tolerate listening to. • Pharah listened to Sincerely, Me before she actually watched Dear Evan Hansen. Now whenever she listens to it, she internally shudders a bit. • The only things she knows from Cabaret are Maybe This Time and Liza Minnelli. • SHE IS TIRED TO DEATH OF ‘DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING’. SHUT UP, YOU TINY NEWBIE AGENTS. • Back to Heathers. She actually found the narrow-minded emo narrative amusing. Well, that was until JD happened. • Hamilton’s one of her off favourites- she doesn’t like techno/rap much, but as the plot’s one she adores, she can stand it. • Defying Gravity never ceases to amaze her.

Fareeha has a degree in Engineering. She graduated from a Canadian University (as illustrated from the iron ring on her left pinkie) before quickly joining the Egyptian military as an officer. As a young lieutenant, she excelled at keeping her soldiers motivated and on task. She left the military when her mother “died” because it was too painful to be in a sphere where she had had so much influence. She hated living in Ana’s shadow.

Since the Raptora system helmet can connect to the internet, while en route to their destinations, the squad usually sends each other memes and other random stuff. Fareeha almost fell out of the sky once from laughing, after Saleh sent her a “Get Schwifty” remix from Rick and Morty.

Fareeha once got drunk and tried to break dance in her suit…she had to give up 2 months pay to fix the damage.

Despite the requirement in formal dress uniform, Fareeha is absolutely terrible at tying ties. She can do it, but it takes a bit of time.

Fareeha once used her (unloaded) rocket launcher as an improvised melee weapon. It worked surprisingly well.

Fareeha is both fully capable and a big fan of leaping into the air using her jets, landing on the heads of large targets, and blasting away at them with her sidearm. It’s surprisingly effective.

Fareeha has started to become disillusioned with Helix due to their repeated failures, first with the breach at the Temple of Anubis, then Soldier: 76′s break in at Watchpoint: Grand Mesa, and now with Doomfist’s breakout.
