Meet me in the blue
One day you will leave me, one day you'll no longer be at my side, then all I will have left will be our memories and the Love i gave to thee.
Then I will for ever think of that time you came towards me and asked me up for a dance, your brown eyes sparcled as the stars in Eva Dahlgrens song, "who enlight the stars". You asked me, may I get a chanse?
From that very moment my heart was lost, to you I gave it away at any cost.
After that very first dance we kept dancing, and I wished it never was to come to an end, but as in everything in life, you only came to me for some time me, do the Love lend.
Now I can only feel your shadow as a ghost, our Love to oneanother, we gave the most. Never will my life ever again become the same, your fight against your pain. Then your spirit will be free, I here will then stand and think, " oh, this adventure in a moment did end in a eye of a blink"

Thank you for the adventures,
now go and have a new one.
This poem I have written to decribe how hard it can be to be both a Lover, but also a care giver to a close one, who suffer from Dementia. As an Author words is that I can the best, eventhough I so many times just don't find the right words to describe how it is to stand there and just be able to watch the person you have known for more than half of your life just fade away from you.
