Items that will help you while being homeless:

1. A large backpack. Can hold a LOT of things and is easily transportable.

2. A battery pack for your devices. Just in case you can’t charge your phone at a place (like overnight).

3. A water bottle with a filter on it just in case you don’t have money for water so you can get some out of a stream or river so you can minimize the risk of getting sick. You can also fill it up in bathrooms.

4. Wet wipes. So you can clean yourself up if you cannot access a shower for a while.

5. A charger cord and a block for it. You can charge your battery pack with it when you get the chance to.

6. Your legal documents. This includes any form of ID (passport, non drivers ID, drivers ID), birth certificate, social security card (or your country’s equivalent), your visa or greed card if applicable, and your diploma (if you have any).

7. At least two pairs of clothes. One on your back, one in your bag.
