The 6 and 2 represent “six squared” (meaning 6 times 2, 12) divided by 2 times 3 (6) plus 4. So: (12 ÷ 6) + 4 = 6
6^2 does not mean 6*2 it means 6*6.

How is the answer not 10? You have to do multiplication and division first so it’s ([6 x 6] divided by 6) + 4….
Somebody needs to come up with some fucking as to why this isn’t 10

It’s very poorly written, because it doesn’t specify whether it divides by 10 or by 6.
You start by doing 6^2, which is 36. Then 2x3, 6. I think technically you’re supposed to then add the 6 and 4, but the way it’s written makes it impossible to know. So 10 and 18/5 are both possible answers.
It’s definitely not 58
I mean... the order is (within) parenthesis, exponents, multiplication/division, addition/subtraction
So 6^2 is 36... you divide by 2 which gives you 18... you multiply by 3 which is 54... and you add 4 which is 58

When I was a freshman in high school there was a boy named Chris who was a senior who had autism and he really loved Hotwheels. He always wanted to show people his tiny cars and instead of the popular crowd making fun of him they got excited with him. On his birthday everyone bought him Hotwheels and he went home with a backpack full of them. For homecoming they voted him king and gave him a cape with Hotwheels on it. Sometimes high school isn’t so bad.
Literally no one is mean to people with special needs in high school. That seems to be the only thing everyone knows not to do in high school.
