man rewatching the anime when you know the lore and what happened is just so sad and heartbreaking :((((

I bet takao is good at literally every sport known to man kind but he just loves basketball more. like I can see him play volleyball as a hobby. maybe he swims every other weekends too. he can totally play football with his other friends on afternoons they dont have basketball practice. and it would be so cute if he sometimes play badminton with his little sister.

i just love takao so much. our little sporty boy.

i think your longer post about the different stories in knb was rlly interesting but i think saying kagami saved the miracles gives less credit to the miracles then they deserve. kagami was a huge part of their development, but i dont think he necessarily saved them- or more so i think more credit is deserved for themselves and their team. the bonds they found within their own teams, by the bonds they chose to nourish were what saved them, i think. kise, for example, respects and likes kagami greatly (and side note i adore the of softness between them we see heh), but if anyone saved him i think it's kaijo. his own idea of team, that he recognizes is still self-interested at times but still passionately sacrificial and willing to do anything for the first people to give him mutual and sincere belonging and trust. but anywho, you didnt ask for this so im sorry if its annoying or if it comes off unkindly! not at all my intension! i just think while they learned something significant by meeting kagami, and they also made a friend (except maybe atsushi, but he's still growing heh), the most credit is owed to the home they found in their new teams

and while I do agree about how the miracles got themselves together by their teams, I still think it's by Kagami and Kuroko's dynamic! :) like the word "saved" can be by an action so small and it doesnt have to be so extravagant. and yeah, kise definitely grew fond for the entire team in kaijo and he definitely wanted to do his everything for their team(him more) to win but for me, he started to feel that way because of the way kagami and kuroko treated their own duo dynamic and how seirin is together as a team!

basically, the miracles wouldn't really realize how a team should be if it really weren't for both kuroko and kagami being together.

im not saying the miracles didn't do a great job on their own for their own character development, especially with their new teams and I apologize if my long post came off as that. what im saying was that they all needed a little push for them to pull themselves together. and the push was in the form of kagami taiga w slit eyebrows.

they did found their home along with their new teams and from what ive seen from the series. it's because they saw it through kuroko's basketball— the entire plot of the show.

kagami is just one simple guy. yet the impact hes done for kuroko is so big that everyone, mostly the miracles, recognizes it and eventually learned to change as well. but without kagami knowing it!
